Norwich linked on Sky Sports news with Johan Elmander, another striker, surely Lucciano is well back in the pecking order now. Would you have him back? Possibly on Loan? Even if he scored half as many goals as he did in the first half of last season it would likely be more than any of our other forwards get.

I would take him back in a heartbeat - he loved being at Leeds, Warnock shoved him out.

Not for me. I don't understand why so many of you always seem so keen to resign ex players.

In this case it is probably because we have noone who can score goals, he is a player who has proven he can score goals at this level and may actually be interested in coming on loan to us. Who else would you rather have in this 'new era'? We can't afford anyone who is actually going to be able to score atm, getting rid of Varney and replacing him with Becchio surely wouldnt be a bad thing?

In this case probably to do with him being a proven 20 goal a season striker at this level. As mighty said, if we sign anyone with that strike rate, we would be promotion contenders. Our current crop of strikers will struggle to get twenty between them

Last season he was poorly handled by Colin. We played crap hoofball. And he still scored a shedload for us before leaving. Would I have him back, even on loan? Would I ever.

We could then partner him with Poleon or Hunt, or Smith or Varney. We'd then have McCormack at the head of a diamond doing whatever he wants and playing proper footy.

    All a no brainer really

If he had stayed for the rest of the season and then left, I probably wouldn't have a problem with him coming back. But he left was pushed out or whatever the reason was and left us in the lurch, so **** him.

But he didnt leave us in the lurch. We got the wonderfully gifted Morisson, a player who according to Warnock, he had admired and tried to sign previously. So if we believe Warnock, Beccho did us a favour

Heyho Irish. Will be intesting to see what Becchio does if Norwich sign any more strikers. He might just let it be known that he'd come home to Leeds.

Becchio back for the season on loan? That would be an amazing signing. Look, the Bates/Warnock regime hammered the poor lad and showed him the door. If they were still here Ross and White would have been sold to Blackpool for a combined fee of £1m, and labelled mercenaries. Funny how now that GFH are holding out against Boro, and considering an extension for Ross, we aren't moaning and calling the lad greedy!! No, Becchio played his heart out for Leeds, he did his best and he scired goals. He always wore the White shirt with pride, and if McD was able to grt him back on loan I'd ask GFH to roll out the white carpet for him.

We don't want Norwich rejects here, it's humiliating enough that they've taken our best players, we don't want the rubbish ones back <ok>
