Not a good way to start the season lads it has to be said, but I'm lost to understand what getting shot of pardew will achieve.

The stench of Ashley and Kinear will still remain. Profits will continue to be syphoned off, and no self respecting manager will touch Nufc with a barge poll

The problem is that the clowns in charge will not go anywhere whilst their pockets keep getting lined. Example - The new shirt goes on sale on Thursday but you know fine well that there will be queues to buy the thing and people will go into Sports Direct to buy it cheaper. Therein lies the problem. He's making a fool of us and yet we still come back for more.

    Or just look at this...

    FANS

The club has been synonymous with it's strong support since it's conception. The Toon Army have consistently made the Magpies one of the best supported clubs in England, Europe and the World.

These facts illustrate just how exceptional the Newcastle support has been throughout the club's history.

In the 1897/98 season Newcastle became the FIRST club in the WORLD outside of the top flight to achieve an average attendance of over 10,000 for league games (11,545).

In the 1906/07 season Newcastle were the FIRST club in the WORLD to achieve an average attendance of over 30,000 for league games (33,235).

In the 1946/47 Newcastle were the FIRST club in the WORLD to attract an aggregate attendance of over 1 million fans for league games in a season.

In the 1947/48 Newcastle were the FIRST club in the WORLD (along with Arsenal and Man Utd) to average over 50,000 for league games (Newcastle 56,283; Arsenal 54,982; Man Utd 54,890).

Newcastle are the FIRST and ONLY club in the WORLD to achieve an average attendance of over 50,000 for top flight and second tier football (56,283 Division Two 1947/8 and 53,839 in Division One 1948/49).
