just one thing – about the forum ‘average’ entry, we’ve had a couple of posts about this: when I started this a couple of seasons ago, I found that they don't use normal adding up and averaging by divide system at Sunderland – and by the way, the admin man of Black Cat Chat should get the plaudits for the maths not me, he’s a computer programming man by profession, I just enjoy the ‘outreach work’! What they do is make a single average forum selection from the guesses received as if it were an entry itself, then mark it against other forum "entries" in the same way. Supposed to be pretty fool proof in the way they calculate it, even gives a BETTER idea of membership intentions, but you ALL play together and so you all should know it's not at all just a question of 3+4+5=12 divided by 3 = 4 ... But I’ll try to get put up on here your members ‘average’ league table positions over the next few days so you know exactly what your collective final choice was!

The Forum Competition League Table (inc Bonus Points) And here are the latest inter forum results. The biggest news is that Norwich City fans have come from mid-table obscurity to be rampant leaders! Liverpool and Newcastle continue to be right up there, but the surprise is that it is the Toon Forum and not Vital Newcastle who are flying the colours up north. Welsh fans are very highly placed too in the forum charts. Cardiff, containing the overall individual leader at present, and Swansea City are both top six. Blackburn, Chelsea, Hemel Hempstead, QPR and Wigan are all flying too in the top dozen. Perhaps the so-called experts are correctly paid for their work? I say that because the Media guys and the Blog entrants are also in the top dozen too. For whom has it not got going yet for? Itâs unfortunately the Posh Forum, Talk of the Terraces (TOTT) and the United Lounge who are currently holding things up, but points differences are really minimal. I'm really sorry, we've had to not accept a half dozen in all so can't show favours here either, closing date was 16th August. The idea was everyone did wild guesses, but by now there is an obvious advantage now the season has started.
