Following his side’s match against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday 18 August 2013, Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has been charged by The FA in relation to two separate matters.

Firstly, it is alleged that Holloway’s language and/or behaviour in or around the match officials changing room at the end of the game amounted to improper conduct.

Secondly, it is alleged that Holloway’s post-match media comments questioned the integrity of the referee and/or match officials and/or implied that the referee and/or match officials were motivated by bias; and/or brought the game into disrepute.

Holloway has until 4pm on 23 August 2013 to respond to both charges.

One of these days Holloway is going to get jaw broken by an official. And it won't be accidental.

FFS, so much for freedom of speech in this country.

What part of what Holloway said was untrue ? Palace would never have got that at White Hart Lane.

We got done @ Chelsea with the free kick award for Lampards goal but that decision was cancelled out by the failure of the match ref(Moss) to award a 2nd penalty from Bradys push on Ivanovic.

Well done Holloway keep it up. Lol.

Which is horrifically ironic considering how much Palace cheated last season and he didnt bat an eyelid.

I was just about to post this. He's getting what he deserves.

We weren't "done" at Chelsea, we were fooking lucky. Any other day that punch could have gotten Mac sent off and Brady was VERY lucky not to walk as well.

Palace base their entire game on cheating referees.

It's a shame the next thing we'll hear is a whine about how he's not being allowed to voice his opinions, and how they're getting the short end of the stick. Thing is, he's just like all of the Palace fans I know. I really hope they win no games this season.

Sorry, people are on the side of Holloway and dodgy penalty decisions?

14 penalties in the league alone, I think I read it was 17 including the cups and play-offs. You need five years to get Hull City upto that number of pens. I laughed my arse off when Palace lost their first PL game to a penalty. They need to concede a few more before that Karma bill is paid.

Without dodgy decisions they would have been nowhere near the play-offs.

Was it really that bad a decision? I've seen much, much worse. The second penalty at SP against us, for example.

He had his hand up, and it altered the path of the ball.

If it had been a Spurs player diving in in exactly the same manner, and the redirection had put the ball past Speroni, would Holloway have been content for the goal to be given? Remember, if it's ball to hand, no foul has been committed, so it would be play on, and a goal would stand. You really think he'd say nothing? Would he f**k.

It was a harsh penalty. But it's not like there was no justification, the ball did hit Moxey's hand. Therefore it's the ref's call.

Besides, I seem to remember Spurs being unlucky not to get a penalty a few moments before.

Decisions like this go against clubs all the time, managers don't kick off all the time. Those two penalties at Selhurst Park could have cost us promotion, and the club £100m - I don't recall Bruce being charged.

Same with me, all ****s especially the wife, brother in-law & sister in-law. Father in law's a proper cockney, Man United runs through his veins.

Holloway, **** off, you're irrelevant & nobody cares.

    Damage limitation from worzel boy.

    We're **** and it's the refs' fault.

Compare and contrast with Moyes and his.

"If I get off to a bad start with my new club, it's because of the 'hard' fixture list. I've also learned from SAF to get my complaints in early and get the weak FA on the backfoot."

It wasn't even a wrong decision. His player got shoulder barged, that's a legitimate skill unlike his teams diving. His comments were appalling particularly considering the incident. He really went to town on both officials when they were in the right. He's blatantly playing Pulis' game of trying to get future decisions his way by pleading that he's a victim nice and early. The whole 'big clubs get decisions' thing is massively exaggerated.

Oh and 5 years for City to get as many pens as Palace did last year? In the last 5 years I doubt if we've had 10 so it's probably even more than that.

All this after he said in an interview that he wanted to be better know for his management and coaching rather than his press conferences. The guy just cannot help himself, opening his mouth and putting his foot in it. One day somebody will twat him.
