I think Gedo is a good option, especially if we exploit the Egyptian market, he'll pay for himself!

What about Finnbogason? Or will Heerenveen want too much?

Would be class but he's not guaranteed to score in this league. Rumoured to available at 6m apparently.

Apparently most Ligue 1 clubs are in a dire state financially and must sell players in order to break even. Potential gold mine.

Don't get on my case but what do we think of Ross McCormack. Is he anything like good enough for us? He works like a dog, puts himself about and is a brilliant finisher. I rate him and he would be a relatively cheap addition.

Great championship striker but we need someone better if we are looking to add.

If we are after a winger who can also play up front, Jordan Ibe on loan might be an option even if just as an impact sub

Seems strange that ALL of the newspaper rumours have dried up on us.

Even made-up ones are better than nothing.

Ross Barkley on half season loan i've heard.

probably not much truth in it as i cant see Everton letting him go, especially after Saturdays performance.

I think the only chance of one more player coming in would be if Prossie or Fryatt got offers in, and we bought one last striker as a result.

Not Barkley. Apparently Martinez wants him to stake a first 11 spot this season.

Norwich look slow at the back and hopefully Brady and Elmo get can in behind and exploit both full backs. As much as i am a Turner fan we know he lacks pace. Bassong also if he plays.

I fear a Snodgrass free kick into the top corner as much as anything else they have.

If Ligue1 is a goldmine, then why don't we look at someone like Yoann Gourcuff? Surely he would improve our side.

What happened to the Amaltifano rumours? He'd suit us very much.

I don't think Snodgrass is all that; I watched him for Scotland and he did bugger all. If we attack Norwich like we did Chelsea in the 2nd half we'll get something from the match. No reason why we can't get 3 points from this, but I wouldn't be unhappy with a draw, especially going into an away game with Manchester City.

I'm guessing the signing of Thudd and Livs killed off any CM rumours. I'm kinda glad we aren't linked to anybody else, I was getting sick of the daft rumours.

Amalfitano would've been decent though. Why are Ligue 1 teams in financial trouble? I don't recall reading anything to suggest it? Is it a recent thing?

Just that Snodgrass has a habbit of grabbing goals against us from free kicks. I see he missed the Everton game.

Does Hughton change that side and bring in 3/4 players who were injured last week ?

HDM says that we/SB are linked with Auxerre striker Paul-Georges Ntep de Madiba(under 21 international)
