Is Willian really worth 30 million? that's more then RVP, Tevez, and these Russian clubs pay way over the odds for players. potentially we're spending 38 million on two wingers in chadi and Willian who both could be crap in our league. Anyway not excited by this Willian chap but hopefully Baldini and Avb know what they are doing.

This summer we see the possible reality of it : a top 4/5 PL squad + a lorry load to spend + a DoF who will identify class players in as replacements.
"Is Willian really worth 30 million?" I don't know. But the wage slut aspect (Shaktar to Anzhi) and the fact he is not a Brasil mainstay (for 30m quid) concerns me.

Times saying it's not even come to decision time for Willian. You were prepared to bid above Anzhi's £30m threshold, whereas we were not budging from 27/28m
it would be a bit of a pisser if willian and chadli turned out to be hopeless and townsend and carroll went somewhere else and became world beaters
There will be a high number of flops this year, the market has gone crazy and some clubs will be stuck with duds.
lol I said this before, if townsend was in the Dutch league we would pay 8 million for him. and Carroll will be a huge mistake to not give a chance.
Liverpool fan here, if you; Sell Bale for £80m + Coentrao Buy Lamela/Willian (or both ) I'm tipping you for beyond 4th, I honestly think third is well within your reach, maybe even 2nd if both Manchester clubs can't keep up consistency. Well done Spurs, getting rid of Harry and bringing in AVB and Franco Baldini is the best thing that could have happened to you lot, Bale's wonders aren't worth £80m but my have you spent that well!
Why would I judge a player on one match agaisnt a club he has a porint to prove? Thats like saying "did you watch Adenayor last year agaisnt Chelsea & Arsenal"....Yes he looked great, yet crap for the rest of the season. Paying 30 million for a player like Willian imo just shows how crazy the transfer market has become.
