Your favourite manager is at it again http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23748851 The guy is a clown.
Didn't see the game - sounded like one of those handball decisions everybody has a debate about each time it crops up.
Much as I share the collective dislike of Holloway i do feel he has a point. There is defintiely, in my opinion, a bias against certain teams not just in the premier league either. I am sure i am not alone among watford fans as to wondering whether there used to be rule especially for us where if your centre forward went up in the air and was fouled he automatically deserved to be penalised for the crime of wearing a yellow shirt. I am pretty sure supporters of most clubs can think of rules which apply only to them......

He just has the brain cells of a gnat... so predictable.... in the pre-season clip he said he was n ot going to be outspoken this season and he cant last one game without having a rant....
I've just been looking at a Nottm Forest board and they expect us to score with a penalty because refs always give 'diving' Watford penalties. They think that there is a bias towards us. I'm glad I'm not a ref.
I think to a certain degree all fans are a bit paranoid. I remember thinking on Saturday that were were not getting the rub of the green, but then decided that it was probably just the ref being s**t. I'm convinced that the ref did not want to give the pen on Saturday and that he reluctantly ceded to the lino. I am equally convinced that he did not give the even more obvious pen decision a couple of minutes later because he had doubts about the first one. Im sure people will come on here and say that that is not how ref's think, but I remain to be convinced otherwise.
I suspect they have doubts and uncertain thoughts like everyone else in work but the trouble is their job is so high profile and in the public line of sight any mistake is latched onto.
I assume we are still ruining English football though; http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/19/england-qualified-players-premier-league
I wonder how many players were born in England but are full internationals for other countries like we have with Lloyd and Nos.
I watched the Man City v Newcastle match and only 2 outfield English players started with one getting himself sent off. Even a club with an excellent academy like Southampton are spending big money on overseas stars. Its just the way football in this country has gone - of course we're not to blame but just another stick for the media to beat when England fail. I don't notice them saying Arsenal should buy young British talent as they have done to improve their squad....its all they need big names to produce instant results and success which is exactly my point. Teams have so much pressure to meet demands of fans, directors and the press that there is no chance any manager will be allowed to develop a side and nurture it over a season or two like Fergie did.
There hasn't been too much said about Spurs selling Huddlestone and Parker, and letting Livermore go on loan, in favour of bringing in foreign players either! Easy target, I guess!
