because we haven't spent any money in 4 years, we had a CL campaign, a new tv deal, a new sponsorship deal and we sold £30m worth of players this summer too. I'm not saying he won't go, but i'm pretty sure we have the money without selling

Sorry, but cannot see how even with new revenue streams, how Willan and Lamela can possibly be incoming without Bale being sold.
