If it comes off this puts them right up there. Closer to you and City but just enough behind as far as you're concerned but puts them well ahead of United and Arsenal. Could well be 1 of 3 fighting for 4th place United, Liverpool and if I'm being honest a not very realistic Arsenal.

if true a blinding deal for the spuds can see them being a good outside bet for the title, should make them nailed on for CL place next season

They don't have it in them to win it as they have bottled all but one chance to finish in the top four but with that deal they will certainly get a top four spot behind us City & United.
Agree. I don't think they're title contenders as they don't have the mentality or manager IMO, but they'd definitely get top 4 once the side gels.

Probably, it depends on whether Mourinho can make Chelsea title contenders again, and if Moyes can KEEP United as title defenders and how well Pellegrini does at City. I personally dont think anyone will break that top 3 this season.
