    We tried last year for him, if we are trying again I think this is something Ellis himself is trying to do.

    if it happens i hope he's not he only midfielder coming into the squad. can't see it happening personally as he's ove the hill now, as well as the pond.

    A solid squad player. And if the wallet is empty I'd sign him. Good PL experience. Not a first teamer though.

    TBO mate, I've not followed him since he left the premiership so don't know what nick he's in. He's always oozed class for me. Looking at players like Lamps and Pirlo (I know they're they're a class above) they've got a few years at top level still in them so age isn't an issue for me. Can't know for sure but I think he'd make a fantastic addition to the squad. Should be in no way the CM paolo is looking for but he'd be great competition to that midfielder and on a loan it would mean experience and competition without being lumbered with an aging player on a permanent contract. It's a yes for me providing it's for competition and not our main CM for the season.
