True to form I went straight to the pub before introducing myself, so I'll just paste what I wrote there onto here. Hi everyone I'm new to this site so bear with me while I figure out how it works. I've been lurking on a few alternatives as the beebs demise got closer and could'nt decide which was best so signed up for a few. Ja being a clone of the original appealed to my unadventurous side but seems proper banjaxed at the moment. SW, as has been pointed out, is fine but apparently uninhabited. I hope this one gets a few of the decent posters from the BBC over to join your good selves and not too many WUMs. I'm happy with a bit of banter, but too much of it was just abusive and nasty. When I logged on this morning I saw a lot of lettuce growing on the board and you really only need five a day. Thankfully, it seems to have been binned. As I have the keyboard technique of a french loaf some weird stuff might come out now and again. Also all of this quoting and repping business is new to me so if anyone wants to put me straight on anything, feel free. There, that's the formalities over with... back to the pub.
Nice to see so many new members! Just a note to those who use this during work, stear clear of the general board! It's a great board but zero modding almost. Also, use the swear filter at the bottom left of the page all the time, turns sackable swear words into harmless asterisks
Welcome mate! You'll find quite a few 606 posters on here. I was on 606 from 2007 - I left the day it was announced it would be closing. The wums are stamped on - us mods are pool fans so there's no BBC pc bollocks over here! Any queries give one of us a shout - also if you spot a wum post give us a shout!

I didn't say it was undeserved. There are two types of wums, those like Corbo who are thick and do it randomly and then people like you who get under the skin of annoying mancs like united19red because they deserve it
We need a Roll of Dishonour, where wums are named, shamed and definitely not allowed to post their pointless over-emoticon'd guff. Thus newbies could identify which threads to ignore completely because the author is a dick.
Never noticed this thread. I'm new to the forum, finding it much more comfortable than the other alternatives, rarely posted on 606 due to the WUM's but did keep an eye on it since mid-season. Anyway, I'm a young Liverpool fan, hate plastic fans but respect all club's traditions. I live in Birmingham (Which is kind of ironic) but have kept up all the latest news since I first started following the club a few years ago. At first was told by people to be a Manchester United supporter but decided Liverpool's tradition, history, passion was just amazing. Genuienly a Liverpool supporter, can't wait for the day I finally get to visit Anfield and see the action myself!
