It's amusing though that their hero was rinsing the club of cash on deals.

I think he does it for column inches and his ego. Column inches = tasty cheque in pocket.

The man above all is motivated by cash, cash and more cash.

Even managed to haemorrhage some extra dosh out of the Gas. They lauded him for it, and call their kids Ollie. Right touch there.

He's doing what every manager does - deflecting attention from the fact his team were beaten and did nothing to suggest they will stay up.
However, his logic would seem to dictate that Palace are going to get mosdt of the decisions in the Carling Cup game next week - hope that ref was taking notice!!

I can't blame him. He has charisma and the press eat his words right up. If any manager were in the same situation they'd take that advantage. If Holloway can keep Crystal Palace in the top flight then the press will absolutely worship him. It's the way football has run forever.

It's not uncommon. A lot of managers do exactly the same thing. I'd be shocked if GJ didn't land a tidy sum for some of his transfers. SOD might have made a bit of cash from us for all we know.

The best part is that it happens right under our noses, and because football clubs are private entitles there is no obligation to reveal financial terms. The Christopher Samba transfer was the best example of this to date. A ridiculous transfer for far too much money to QPR, from one manager charged with tax evasion to one who narrowly escaped a charge for tax evasion, and then BACK to the same club/managers for similar money. Redknapp and Hiddink must have made an absolute killing, along with Samba and his agent.

Remember his classic quote when asked why he fitted in so well at Blackpool and his reply was that they both looked better in the dark. Apart from that not much to say about him.
