My tuppence worth is that the mods do a grand job

Earlier thought this place was buzzing, lots of great freindly banter and the posts were flying out left right and centre

I understand ppl want to talk football but a, there were threads for this b, they could always create one and c, to my knowledge majority of the sillyness was on the naming thread and snail thread

But Ive too much respect for those that complain about the sillyness as theyve been here a lot longer than me. I think it spilled into some other threads which does make discussions harder, I dont know, I think this would be a poorer place without the silly threads. I dont think they should go into one place either as its not as good. You say something and its lost within a page or 2

So I think silly thread allowed, i.e Snails, name changes, butterflies etc as im sure they'll be plenty of football threads still

But like I say this place was great fun today, I got **** all work done and now I have to sell **** loads in 4 days

The sillyness actually used to get on my nerves a bit (mainly because I didnt have a ****ing clue what anyone was on about, still dont sometimes but thats just me being a bit slow sometimes) but joined in a bit and now its all good to be honest

 

I was exactly the same at first, always felt like the outsider trying to get his head through the door. However, once you're in, you're stuck

I leave it logged in whilst I'm working at work, I leave it logged in on my phone and I leave it logged in on the home PC too. Only explanation I have

 

I leave it logged in on my iPad and phone, but some days I post more than others, whereas some days I don't post much at all.

 

I actually post a lot more on my phone than anything else (usually when, erm...yeah, not allowed to say in the pub). Also use phone at weekends and evenings when the mrs is boring the **** out of me

 

I really think that allowing silly threads is for the benefit of our page, 100%. Ppl dont get involved if they dont want too and im sure it wouldnt be more than a 1/4 of the board to be honest

Your the same as me though, you try and respond to everyone and make everyone involved if they post on any given thread

I dont see the problem if silly threads dont make up half of the board

 

So basically you're on here all the time, not modding and posting on silly threads

 

This is true, probably something I need to stop doing though. Certainly won't be helping me reduce that 99.9% activity level
