Going for Shane Long is depressing. Sorry people but being 'busy' doesn't mean he's any good, says he's more of a headless chicken. Hope its just a rumour, or it just seems we're clutching a last minute straws. Rather save the money and buy someone we actually want in Jan. Willian to spurs (still hoping that its not true) would have to mean Bale is going to Real, Surely?

no it doesn't come on lads... long is fast, powerful and scores goals. he puts himself about and is a decent player no question. however like i said don't get carried way on the one side with willian and on the other getting all depressed over an actual signing! even if it is long. I think just see what happnes... chill, relax and it'll all become clear.
Shane Long? Seriously? He's a poor mans Kuyt. He's good for teams that will whack it long into the channels and he'll chase them down and put the opposition under pressure and win a few throws etc, but no where near good enough technically to link up with Suarez, Coutinho, Sturridge & Aspas.
