    suck me pig fluffer.

you are on a buzz to make out i'm negative when in fact you and your best mate go round derailing every thread on the site.

All i said was the mid table sides look to have improved and lfc need to have their game together for next weekend.

I didn't say we're going to lose i didn't call rodgers any names. etc etc... so go do one.

    Nice thread Magic! <applause>

Do agree with MITO on the sides he mentioned improving significantly. Southampton look the strongest of those in my opinion but Villa sticking with Lambert looks like a good decision. Kept the spine of the side together and brought in players to strengthen the squad.

Benteke worries me. Excellent throughout last season and we couldn't handle him in the 3-1 to Villa loss last season. Certainly won't be an easy game... I fancy us to score goals but I think they will score as well.

I'd like to see an unchanged side for this game.

Villa have a Jekyll and Hyde about them - on their day, they can play some extremely attractive football and they also have the beast to lead their line.

Tricky away fixture, but it's one that we should be winning if we want to push for top 4.

No different to us then? Call it blind optimism but I'm hoping Kolo can have a monster of a game against Benteke, if we can keep him quite it'll certainly aid our effort in trying to get a positive result!

Interesting to see how Villa cope with an organised Chelsea first.

Still think Villa are a bit light and naive at the back, think if we keep creating the oppurtunities we will ( hopefully) put a fair few in against them. Guzan has been impressive from last year and carrying over though.

I think they'll surprise Chelsea, not saying they'll beat them but I wouldn't be surprised if they were to shake them up a bit..

Wasn't it Villa that got thumped by Chelsea last year as well? Will want to make up for that I would think.

That may be the case but we'll need to ensure that..
    - Lock down Benteke
    - Gerrard and Lucas to be more disciplined, not being ahead of the ball, not to allow Villa to break quickly
    - Our front three continue to float all over the pitch, making it hard for their CBs to "mark" anyone, therefore giving the likes of Henderson and our Full backs more space to exploit.

    Simples!

Agree on the point, think this could be a game where it is 3-2,3-3,2-2 doubt it will be a dour draw. Will be a good game though. Think we should also handle that midfield battle as well, Gerrard, Lucas, hendo/Coutinho should boss it.

This is my biggest concern. I have little confidence in our central midfield and Villa have a very quick counter attack in them.

If this is happening we could counter it by bring on Wisdom and playing with three center backs. We could then push Enrique and Johnson further forward.

  20. I'd happily do it but I'd be more Mascherano than Lucas #injurethefucker
