Kolo has brought great experience - you could see when Coutinho and Lucas were squaring up to Nzonzi, and Kolo came in and defused the situation.

Not only that, you could see his reaction when Mignolet saved the penalty - his enthusiasm is infectious.

Finally have a player who attacks the ball at set pieces. Everyone else just stands still.

Thought Gerrard's reaction to the pen save was the funniest. Was also funny how little Courtinho was shaping up to knock their player out with big Enrique looming in the background and Agger running in to get involved! There's great spirit in our squad now, it's clear in those situations.

I love how good he is in the air. Good at defending and also not afraid to attack the ball from our corners. When I watched the Celtic game there were about 4 or 5 corners which he got on the end of or got close, which is something which we've missed since Hyypia.

Still need another CB as Skrtel & Coates aren't fancied for reason I that they aren't good enough on the ball for Rodgers (see Pullis' explanation on how Stoke played Skrtel last season before the game on Saturday).

Potentially a very good free signing for us this year, let's just hope he can keep the consistency up throughout the rest of the season.

Skrtel's not the best player in the world- but to be fair, he's nowhere near as bad as you make him out to be. :)

I actually rate Skrtel quite highly. Perhaps he doesn't suit our new system, but he's a good old fashioned defender and would do great at most clubs in the PL

He was excellent for us when he was younger but seemed to lose interest and started making stupid mistakes. If you can keep him motivated i'm sure he'll do a good job
