You can say what you like, but he has been very reliable so far, i was questionable aswell but time will tell.

Yeah right , considering he is worth every penny of at least £5m and under contract for another I think 2 years its never going to happen!

Like Grahams release clause, very reliable I guess, I mean Rodgers brought him to Watford I think he'd know what the release clause was, and didn't you lot offer £2.5m for him ? lol

Put it this way, there will be uproar if Williams is allowed to walk out for a stupid price like that. As you say though, time will tell eh.

I know, I have no idea about this and was sceptical but he has a good track record and Williams seems like Warnock's type of player.

Reading your post it seems we will get £1m for them both lol, this media hack is an idiot reading his replies on twitter underlines that, we will not sell players for a pittance, we have no need to sell anyone, and williams will be team captain come next season imo, qpr has nothing to offer him

Williams is every managers sort of player. Strong, pretty quick, good in the air and happy with the ball at his feet. Add in that he's got a very sweet cross field pass he'd be on pretty much EVERY clubs radar for £1m.

I'm struggling to believe it though because we were offered £2m from Wolfsburg in January, and if there is a buy-out clause then Roberto Martinez would have known about it and he'd have been gone by now. Got a feeling this guy is very anti-Swansea and looking for a reaction.

Doey the other day Tim was telling me and Lynch that jason from the pub says that Gary Monk is defintely retiring this season (as in wont be playing for us in the prem) because of his past knee problems!
He could guarantee it, and bet jamie £100 that its true as well...

For some reason i don't buy it

Doey no offence but EVERY club? I'm pretty sure there are at least 50 clubs that wouldn't want him, he's a good player but pushing the extremes a bit there.

Don't trust anything you hear that comes out of the Linden Tree haha!

Jason is mates with Garry Monk, but I can't see that myself. In the same way I don't buy these silly rumours about Williams and Taylor!

If people believe this @smudge1972 then he's claiming Neil Taylor to Newcastle for £1m is a done deal.

    Is anybody buying this?

You may be right, probably not EVERY club as I mentioned. But if you can name 50 clubs that wouldn't take Ashley Williams for £1m then i'd be more than happy to read your list. Assuming you'll exclude stupid suggestions i.e Minor league teams, 5-a-side teams and Church league teams.
