Wanyama was good, such a massive presence in the middle. But he doesn't look as 'fit' as some of our other players. I can see him really developing with us, good move for him as well as us.

    You're a bell-end Merson. No disrespect.

Dermot Gallagher has just been reviewing our game in terms of the penalty and disallowed goal.

Penalty - It's a foul. However cheap or soft, it's a foul. It's a lazy foul by Mulumbu.

Lallana's 'goal' - It is a goal. An unfortunate error by the linesman. Should have stood.

I'm with the lino on this. JRod (offside and close to the goalie) jumped for the ball...would definitely distract the keeper. Last year might have stood, but with new interpretations of rules it doesn't. Of course it is entirely possible that the lino just made a mistake and flagged Lallana offside...that would be wrong.

Did you know that Saints have three representatives in Jamie Redknapp's Team of the Week..?

    No, I wasn't overly impressed either. <laugh>

If you watch the replay again you can see Foster knows Lallana is going to win the header. He is scrambling across his goal trying to make a save from Lallana. Rodriguez didn't effect his positioning. It should have stood.

Indeed, having only seen one replay when watching live I thought perhaps Foster had been distracted by Jay, but in reality he was tracking the ball the whole way and was never really interfered with by Rodriguez. But with the new-but-just-as-vague wording of the law, I'm not surprised it was given.

    morgan sounds greeeeat.

dejan is more manly but schneiderlin is more beautiful.

it's absolutely impossible to pick between the two,
