It would appear that if Rooney completes his move to chelsea for a reported improved bid of £40m bucks, there is a very strong chance that lukaku may be coming to the liberty on loan, now the powers that be at swansea beleive that both chelsea and lukaku would welcome a season long loan at swansea what with the europa league. Can't see this happening due to the fact I can't see Utd selling Rooney to Chelsea. However it looks like Monaco might have to sell Falcao because of tax issues so i could see Chelsea buying him, thus freeing up Lukaku. Would be a hell of a coup by Laudrup if we managed to get him.
Why would Lukaku come here and sit on the bench ? Bony is number 1 and will start if fit , Lakaku wants to be number 1 where ever he goes and that wont be at the Swans ,wishful thinking I reckon
If Michu is sold in this window it would mark the beginning of the end for this team and Laudrup. Personally I think next summer my be his time, michu was still our most likely to score player yesterday and he is massive to our survival and progression, I cant see the club letting him go even for stupid money,one week before the transfer window closes.
Lukaku would be good but, as Norway says, he will only come to us if he gets games. He might as well sit on Chelsea's bench as ours. Be interesting if he, Bony and Michu could all start for us, though. We'd score goals for fun if we ever got the ball to them.
We're not a one man team if michu goes the club will move on and score goals can't anyone see that it's not about individuals in our team but good players in an amazing team! (for the money)
No way Lukaku will join our club. If we sold Michu for 25 million (which I dont think he is worth), we should try to bu Ba instead from Chelsea for around 15 million. Would love to see Bony and Ba playing together.
This will not happen. At all. Poor article with lazy guess work. Rooney will not join CHelsea and even if he did Lukaku wont go anywhere.
I think he would get plenty of game time with us. That would leave Michu to go deeper. Mind you this does depend on us making the group stage of the Europa league. Bony cant and wont play every game. We have good cover everywhere else, so why not up front. Lets not forget he got quite a few goals last season. Would be a fantastic signing. I am going to say think it will happen, If Chelsea sign another top striker. 15 games here in either the PL or Europa is still better than none at Chelsea.
Fantastic player but will be behind Bony in the pecking order no matter what happens. Bony is here as number 1 and lukaku is also wanting to be number 1 and play games regular, both are similar in style too and I believe Laudrup said he wanted a different kind f player to Bony. Id love it to happen for sure but I just think its wishful thinking. After a great season at WBA im pretty certain that sitting on the bench isn't an option of lukaku anymore,so for me its not a logical move coming to Swansea .
If Chelsea sign Eto or Rooney, Lukaku could end up 4th choice, Surely the chance of football and european football at that, although not every week would be better than an odd appearance in the CO cup. Maybe it is wishful thinking but not beyond the realms of probability.
Bony won't be able to play saturday/thursday/sunday all the time so Lukaku would be an excellent addition to the squad.
