We've already put one North London club in their place this summer, we need to do it to Spurs as well. Just once I would like us to not be stingy and offer the same wages Spurs are offering. It's clear that we are by far the most attractive opposition when there are no tricks played by Tottenham (e.g. them offering much better wages than us in a tragic act of desperation)
I can't get upset about someone decent who doesn't sign for us! Aspas looked bloody good, I'm sure a front four of Aspas, Sturridge, Ford and Suarez is good enough to give most/all defences a damn good run for their money! Also, if Spurs are buying Willian, after all the money they've already spent it pretty much means Bale is a goner, no?
