I always had high hopes for him. As I recall, he was unlucky to always get injured or suspended when he had a chance to stake a claim for a starting spot. By the time he was available again, someone else had possession of the shirt. Glad he's back in the Premier League.
He got sent off for bopping Scotty Parker when we drew 2-2 at Upton Park back in 2009. I think his main problem was that Hughes just didn't rate him.
I've just seen rumours linking Bairdinho to Bolton. Did his move to QPR not happen, then? I thought it was a done deal.
Zesh Rehman please log in to view this image "Former Fulham defender Zeeshan Rehman is expected to lead Pakistan football team which is likely to leave for Philippines on Thursday (today) to feature in the three-nation Philippines Peace Cup to be held from October 11 to 15. The Hong Kong-based player, who did a great job in the SAFF Cup in Nepal recently, is the strongest candidate for captaincy for the brief tour after skipper Samar Ishaq did not attend the camp due to illness. Zesh, along with Danish strikers Hasan Bashir, Mohammad Ali and gloveman Yousuf Butt will join the Pakistan team in the Philippines."
Just seen that Danny Hoesen has signed on loan for PAOK in Greece, initially on loan but they have the option to buy. Considering we have a 30% sell on clause lets hope he starts banging them in and goes for a few million.
