Oh, something else I forgot to mention: Glenn Hoddle, do **** off please. Get your head out of Abramovich's arse.
Graham looks like to only signing who will struggle. He looked slow, as in Wilbraham slow. Maybe he needs a goal. Meyler struggled too Aluko needs to play off the striker with Elmo pushed into the position Aluko played. For Norwich I would look at McGregor Rosie Chester Davies Figueroa Huddelstone Livermore Brady Aluko Elmo Sagbo
Rabbits in the headlights first half + Chelsea played their best stuff. Great passing and possession play from City in the second half. Brady, Aluko, Huddlestone, Livermore, Elmo and Boyd looked good and comfortable at this level. Graham couldn't get hold of the ball to relieve the pressure on the defence and Meyler's technical deficiencies were exposed. Sagbo looked lively but didn't get a decent chance. I reckon we need another striker with pace and a goal threat. For me we should take a punt on Gedo.
I also enjoyed it when McGregor got the ball as it bounced ahead of torres and knocked him backwards. From today we saw him make some great saves but also some stupid decisions.
First 15 mins we looked like a pub team.. Nervous and panicking and giving the ball aay far too easily. Surely SB had told them what to expect. After that we looked okay and took the game to them in the last 20mins. Ref: awful, wouldn't give us the steam off his pi$$.....Breath on that Hazard and he falls over, what a big girl! It is out of the way and we need to concentrate on the likes of Norwich and Cardiff, but we already knew that. Well done City
The point of the replay was the man behind the advertising board looking like he was say asleep in the vehicle in the advertising board.
Although, the second half was better, i really wouldn't call passing it from side to side without having any chances, excellent. It was improved. But Chelsea could've still dicked on us if they wanted to. We'll start the Norwich match better & we'll make it more of a contest.
Yeah he completely ran out of ideas when faced with Terry haha. I thought he played brilliantly in the second half though when he was played out wide, don't understand why Bruce played him in midfield at all. To be honest I think Bruce's tactics today were extremely poor.
They're a great side at the back Chelsea, they've got some massive defenders who gave us nothing. We did well to outpass them in the second half even if it came to nothing. They'll win games more comprehensively than that this season.
Sorry lads, iPad died just before half time. Thought you did much better second half. The two spurs lads kept the ball and their shape much, much better which was all you needed to do. Chelsea played the second half at a canter though and you didn't ever come close to scoring but the second half was far more positive than the first. Play like you did in the first and you'll go down, play like you did in the second and you'll do much better.
In fairness you will find much more out about your team at home to teams like Norwich next week rather then going to places like Chelsea. Especially with Jose's return today you was always going to be up against it
I agree with this mostly but I thought the first half was more down to them being brilliant and us being a bit negative/scared than us being bad.
I said to my mate after about 2 minutes of that game they they'd win 7-0 You could just see how well they were playing immediately,.
