It could all go pear shaped of course, but from a bookies point of view, we're gradually offloading the refuseniks and bringing in some good players at less than extortionate rates - O'Neill, Simpson, Dunne, Austin all look like they'll be solid players for us. We're in the top six, it's clear to most we're only firing on 5 out of 8 cylinders and Harry has a couple more weeks to bring in more quality...May be a decent bet

 

Hope that doesn't put the kiss of death on us?

So we are favourites again.

Have we all seen the champions play this season yet???

I'm not convinced yet. We still have players to bring in to strengthen us. The year we won it, I knew by mid-September we would. I haven't quite got that feeling yet even though at times, we are outclassing teams by the sounds of it but I will tell you after the next 4 games, Bolton and Leeds away and Birmingham and Brighton at home. It will be more apparent then whether our favouriteism is justified or not.

 

Likewise, though it was October before I thought we'd win.
Way too early yet, but its promising.

Nailed on for top 6 and more likely than anyone else to get top two IMO. There are a few players there that are far too good for this league, though the same is true of a few teams, and the squad is ridiculously deep now.

Between us, Watford, Reading and Wigan I don't think there is much. I expect Forest to fall away.

Troy Deeney (not sure about the spelling) looks like an excellent striker at this level. Confident in Austin, though I'm not sure we've got enough goals throughout the squad to get us promoted as champions.

I was heard that a Premier League team were looking at Deeney. As my source was a complete stranger at the Crown and Sceptre I'd treat it as unqualified!!!!

 

If Deeney has a good season it wouldn't surprise me if a PL team made an offer.
