You lot seem to hate everything that you don't do. Palace were the best fans to come to our ground by a country mile, yours one of the worst. You seem so worried to be considered 'plastic' or 'tacky' that you're afraid to do anything new. Whats funny is that you have one of the most 'tacky' chants i've ever heard but you just say 'oh, it's irony' The hypocrisy is unreal. If anyone else sung it you'd piss yourself. I personally think Palace ****e in defence but I think they'll do alright with goals whereas you're the otherway around. If Aluko gets injured then you're ****ed IMO.
Haven't you found someone to force your crap banter on in the championship? We're too big for you now.
Absolutely, I was there and only about 30 of us sung. But the rest of the ground was like an absolute morgue.
holloway moaning as per usual "I've got to learn what a foul is because I thought Nacer Chadli deliberately bodychecked Stephen Dobbie, smashed him down, and ran off with the ball. "If the referee didn't see that, the assistant should have. You have to ask if he's good enough if he didn't see that. I don't see how he can miss that. "A minute and a half later, we're arguing over whether it was deliberate handball. "I don't understand how it was a penalty, or how Dean Moxey could have got out of the way of it. I had three players right behind him. "It's going to be a long hard season for me with these people (referees). I had this with Blackpool. Certain clubs get fouls and others don't. Tottenham will feel that if they play Man United. "Do I think I would have got that at Tottenham? No I don't. I just want a bit of fairness. I want a foul like anyone else would have got one. "I've got a horrible taste in my mouth after that."
You do spout some ****e. A lot of other Yorkshire teams have a load of plastics. Name one. As for Palace, at least their fans get behind them. Look at our lot today. Standing up can't be an issue as all the Chelsea fans behind the goal are stood up yet ours are nearly all sat down like dummies at the theatre rather than a football match. No doubt a lot of them will be tutting at anyone doing anything vulgar like making a noise.
Anyone else hear Holloway's interview afterward? Typical ****e as per usual. Always has to blame the refs, it's never his teams fault... Dick.
OT but it pisses me off how commentators promote cheating. In the City game today the commentator stopped that Torres had leapt over Chester's leg for the freekick but didn't criticise it or anything he just said Chester needs to be aware of the 'more cute players at this level who can do that'. As if it's a valid skill. The fact it's a song is why it's not tacky. Goal music, "You're **** aahhhhhhhhhh" on goal kicks and repeating scorers name along with the tannoy announcer is gay, singing isn't And you can't criticise our support at the KP last season. You outclassed us on the pitch but not in the stands - even NP made a point of coming right up to us and applaud his own fans in a "**** you Hull fans for having a go at me all game." way. He's quite entitled to do that, but it proves he obviously heard our abuse for him at the other end of the stadium. This is why I despise Palace. They were a mid-table side last season who managed to get promoted just through getting an excessive number of penalties and he's already moaning that his team haven't had enough this season after one game. And you were watching them on the telly criticising?
