Is it just me? On the one hand, I can respect the fans for following them with all the competition there is down there, and the club seems to have abused the soccer am niche in the market really well, but I can't help but wish them failure simply for being so tacky.
I hate holloway and their players and their pile of **** stadium. I think they're nailed on to go down personally.
Can't argue with that, but I do think they're the football image for the Prem Sky would like, so I can see us all being engineered that way. At least they realised pushing the "Eagles" thing was too tacky even for them.
Sad thing is that there is bound to be media bias what with Cardiff's rivalry with Swansea and Crystal Palace being a London club. City have no rivals really and that makes for a much less interesting prospect, hence the negativity.
It's funny how some traits transcend other changes. Over the years they've always been a cynical side, no matter who owns or manages them. Dowie took them to new heights of 'gamesmanship', which at school we called cheating.
I agree, it's a damn shame. It's not our fault that every other team in Yorkshire is ****ing **** and can't get promoted. Why should Sky hold it against us that the likes of Leeds, Scunthorpe, Rotherham, Doncaster and York aren't as good we are? Bastards.
it's all about ratings ratings = money TWS have a lot of plastics. so do alot of other yorkshire teams Im sure that when we get established in BPL (5 seasons +) we will start to get our own plastics and then sky will have to sit up and notice. heh spurs penalty!
