Hope you are right, you are certainly right about the need to win games like this, but we all know about the games we SHOULD have won.

    I am buzzing!!

Today is going soooooooo slowly though!

my starting like up would be:

    Hugo
Walker Daws Kaboul (if fit) Rose (hmmm)
    Paulinho Sandro Dembele
    Lennon Robbie Chad

With no disrespect to palace, that should be plenty strong enough to win. However, I do feel that team has something missing from the middle 3 and the final 3. It looks very much like a "get the ball to Lennon and Chadli" formation, which isn't very dynamic, IMO.

Thank god we have goal-line technology. Having said that Clattenberg and electronics will probable conspire somehow to make an almighty cock-up.

Yup I'd go for that team too, but maybe with Andros in for Chadli for a bit more Prem experience. As we saw last year AVB likes to ease players in. Hope YK and Sandro are fit.

Amazing to see Daws and Kaboul as our centre-back partnership. Might as well be 07/08.

I'm hoping for a line up of:

    Lloris,
    Walker, Dawson, Kaboul, Vertonghen
    Paulinho, Capoue, Dembele
    Lennon, Soldado, Chadli

Bench: Friedel, Rose/ Naughton, Sig, Sandro, Townsend, Defoe, Carroll

Sandro I doubt is ready for a full 90 mins, CM is a very demanding position and for someone who's had 35 mins of football in the last 7/8 months, I think a start is too much to ask. Kaboul looked very comfortable when coming on the other week and although he's had less football than anyone in the past 12 months, CB is a position where I'd like to think he won't be too physically challenged on the fitness side. AVB said Vertonghen is touch and go so I'm really hoping he is a go-er, I'd rather a 75% Vertonghen than a 100% Rose, Rose's defending seriously worries me, he looks decent going forward but dreadful at the back. (I'd rather Ekotto started but AVB seems to have banished him for unknown reasons, Spurcat any idea why mate?).

I'd love for you guys to ruin Mourinho's returning parade. God that'd make MOTD so sweet to watch especially if we pick up 3 points at Selhurst.

A lackadaisical approach to turning up to and putting effort into training apparently.

I don't see it coming, but it would be ****ing unbelievable.

Mourinho never lost a league game at Stamford Bridge... oh it would be so funny if little old Hull were the first to break that.

Something just smells a bit fishy to me. Ekotto's been here for years and seems a great professional (in my opinion), last season after returning from injury it was clear then AVB seemed to to not rate him much due to the rotation with him, Naughton and Verts and now he's been completely isolated. I reckon something's gone on between the two. I'm just worried that it's a similar situation to that of Dawson last season, luckily Daws had the determination to stick around and prove AVB wrong, really hope Benny can do the same. I'd be really gutted if AVB sees Rose as a better option like he did with Gallas to Daws for the early parts last year. IF Benny unfortunately does depart, then I hope we gor for a new LB, Rose just isn't at the calibre we need in my opinion and I've said before that I think his attitude stinks.

What a perfect time to break that record :D

That'd be the stuff of dreams... Hull winning 1-0 at Stamford bridge from a 90th minute Hudd rocket. Failing that, Jake scoring wouldn't be a bad one either :D

If Thudd scored the winner i'd go mental.

To be fair, if any player scored the winner for us I'd go mental. Paul McShane would be the one I'd want to score most though!
