i wouldn't say he was that far wrong yesterday, in all honesty (and for watching on a streaming channel).

Larsson = lots of endeavour but no end product. we know he ain't a ccm but the sooner we get a playmaker the better. that could have made the difference to the result yesterday.

Sess - didn't turn up, again. as much as i think he's a fantastic talent, the more he plays like that the less i'll be concerned if he is replaced. last game he turned up for was Spurs preseason asia match. so that's 1 in 4, which does not represent a turnaround in consistency.

alternatively, we get another deep lying striker to compete for that striking position. that would be the best solution. highly unlikey, but we'll know in a couple of weeks time.

Nordic, I (almost) agree with you tegarding Sess. But a "talent". A "talent" for me is an 18/19 year old coming through at the begining of his career. Sess is 29 years old and if he's as good as 90% say, he should be showing it week in week out and not one in 7/8. He's a half decent but extremely inconsistent player. Maybe good enough for a top 6 side but no way good enough for a bottom 6 one who need grafters for 90minutes each and every game.

Like Sess as a player but, agree with Cest that he is too hit and miss and we seem to be getting this want away stuff from him or his agent (not sure which) at the start of the season. If we get good money then great we move on to a replacement a bit late in the day and very much like the Gyan deal but, he is not indispensable get it sorted asap.

Your not a very nice person are you, I'm pleased I don't have to mix with your sort.

I said it because you asked me to name the three chances and I thought it was some sort of game.

If your command of the English language was as good as your command of profanities, you would realise when people are taking the rise, I normally don't argue with idiots because they drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Paolo Di Canio insists Stephane Sessegnon is not for sale – despite fresh reports linking him with a move to the Middle East.

Rumours that the Benin international could move to Qatar have resurfaced, with Al-Jaish said to be tracking the Sunderland man.

But, speaking after Sunderland’s home defeat against Fulham, Black Cats head coach Di Canio made it clear that he does not want Sessegnon to leave Wearside.

“I have to be clear: I don’t want to sell Sessegnon,” said Di Canio.

“It’s not something that we have to speak about privately with the board.

“I don’t want to sell Sessegnon.”

Di Canio is realistic enough to know that every player has his price, and that the situation could also change if Sessegnon says he wants to leave.

But so far the 29-year-old – who signed a new contract at Sunderland 12 months ago – has given no indication that he is keen on a move to the Middle East.

And Di Canio says that if Sessegnon DOES move on, he will have to be replaced before the transfer window closes.

He said: “I have given my opinion already: Sessegnon is not for sale and we need to bring in one central midfield player.

“But if he is sold, we have to bring in a central midfield player and another striker.

“If someone wants to sell Sessegnon, I won’t criticise if they bring me a striker with quality and experience, and a central midfield player – but not as cover, one with a background, good quality, physical presence and experience.”

in other words, the board had better not **** him over, by claiming the cash and not replacing him. makes a change from selling bent and not replacing him

Plus I don't give a **** about spelling & Grammar on the internet. plus aren't you the ****ing idiot what thinks Sess is as good as you have seen in a sunderland shirt LOL with that comment you should be put down.

Insigne would be a freely goal scoring replacement for Sessegnon. Having said that, Atidore's link up play was very good and he actually seems to be quite creative. I think Jozy will get a few assists as well as goals and if Sess was to go and we didn't bring another striker in, Jozy and Fletch would be dynamite in my opinion.

After Sessegnon's first season I remember having a conversation with my mate where we were saying he was the best player we have had in years but, insisting on playing him and creating the formation to accommodate him has been to the overall detriment to the team. In hindsight, selling him for £15m+ when is stock was high last close season might have been a good move. MON could have blown it on 3 Danny Grahams!

What a silly question that is. of course I was happy but one goal against newcastle doesn't make up for his **** season he had pal.
