Greetings Peter, I hope your are well.

Got to agree with you that this is super cute.

Also a great story. I don't think that this has done any harm to the Celtic brand in Eastern markets. It wasn't done for that reason though. The full story is better than "super cute".

That must of been very galling for you to have that exchange spoilt. I did put a link up to the item on the OP being discussed on sportstalk by a spokesman for the listed fan groups.

People may or may not wish to comment on some of that. TWT

The question about increased revenue, will be answered in the long term...And very much depends on success on the pitch. If the owner(s) are in it for the long haul then it might pay dividends, but eh I sadly don't own a crystal ball, and neither I suspect do you.

In some respects I see it this way. You purchase a business, a going concern. You call it WTF you wish as long as it does not (1) contravene the law of copyright i.e trying to pass yourself off as another established business. Or (2) is offensive to anyone. Changing Hull City AFC to Hull City Tigers does not in my book effect 1 or 2. But as I have said on previous occasions your entitled to your opinion. Good luck in your protest but don't hold your breath.

How bloody silly, nobody is going to vote with their feet. I have not heard anyone say they will not support the team or go to the games and just because people are talking about this subject on a forum it doesn't mean that we have forgotten we have the excitement of the Premier League starting tomorrow. It is not a protest it is people voicing their opinion on a forum. We are not marching anywhere. Maybe the fuss will die down but a lot of people will still feel very disgruntled about the whole thing.

You still seek to somehow justify the (now removed) comment you made with a reference to my mother in it?

TyggerTygger was just having a general rant. I doubt anybody took him seriously. I certainly wasn't offended. I just feel he was upset that he referred to the accounts as if he had knowledge and then had to admit he hadn't seen them.

I can understand people being critical of somebody based on what they said but it's ridiculous to just insult somebody without any basis.

Nothing on here ever offends me either Peter, an open forum and people can make what they will of the comments. I am positive neither yourself or tyger tyger are going to lose sleep over this. Two good posters(imo) with differing views that got slightly out of hand.

    Meanwhile, back on topic.

Did anyone listen to Rick Skelton on sportstalk?

If so, what do you make of it?

I'm not trying to justify anything. You wanted a reaction. I gave you a reaction.
I had a debate with Peter, when do you ever debate anything? What do you contribute? Nothing!

You've never really grasped how this forum works have you?

    Anyhow, me move on.

    Back on topic.

I freely admit that I am not part of this "united front"

Jules....I have read written remarks on here from all be it a very small number saying they are not going again ...in protest. Look back if you wish. Dam silly way to talk if you ask me, but its a free country. If some people feel that het up about it and want to vote with their feet, then that is up to them!

A Hull style John Bishop, a proper respected million selling serious music artist (or artists) and - why not?- a supermodel (or at least nationally-lusted after totty).

Surely that's not too much to ask?

When talking about the football side of things we will be known as Hull City ... this was always going to be the case

When talking business side of things we will be emphasising the "tiger" brand .,.,, they have already had calls from global brands since this and are in talks on them wanting to come into partnership with us to use the unique tiger branding to maximum potential

Just like I said the other day ... The HDM reporting leaves a lot to be desired

Your thread on the HDM reporting was bollocks, that was proven when Allam came out and specifically stated, whilst insulting the fans, that he does want to change the name.

If NT has said this, then it sounds like some sort of compromise. All people care about is whether our club's name will change or not and it looks like it still will.
