£32000 is probably an average to below average wage in this league. Bardsley, although being a tosser is no different from 99% of all footballers. No allegience to the club, it's a job, he's an employee picking up his wages from an employer. PDC has seen through the guy in double quick time. Quite a lot of fans took quite a bit longer but it's pretty much as one now. The guy won't play again for the club so why not just pay his wages up and get rid.
The new figures show that: Average Premier League wages have reached £22,353 a week - before lucrative bonuses - or £1.16million a year. Average Championship earnings are £4,059 a week (£211,068 a year), less than a fifth of players one division above. In the bottom division, League Two, their weekly pay of £747 is not much more than the national average. League Two earnings are also 30 times smaller than those in the Premier League.
If thats the fact then fair enough. But I don't believe hardly a single player at Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Totenham, Chelsea. At lest 6/7 players at West Ham, Aston Villa, Fulham,Southampton,Newcastle, Stoke, Sunderland, Everton, 4/5 players at Hull, West Brom, Norwich are on anything less than £30k per week. when you look at the likes of Sess, Catts, Bardsley all above £30k. No way the average wage for a premiership footballer is£22k
This is well out of date and I can only see wages going one way from here. Premier League Salaries Managers The salary for Premier League managers is steadily increasing since Chelsea paid £5.4 million a year for Mourinho. Long gone are the days of top Premier League managers getting less than a million a year for managing millionaire players. In fact David Moyes at Everton on £4 million a year owns more than any of his players. Current going rate is around £3 million for a top Premier League manager though your smaller clubs and recently promoted ex Championship ones can often be found paying circa £1 million or less for their managers. Name Club Annual Salary Arsene Wenger Arsenal £6 million Paul Lambert Aston Villa £2 million David Moyes Everton £4 million Martin Jol Fulham £1.5 million Roberto Mancini Manchester City £7.5 million Alex Ferguson Manchester United £4 million Alan Pardew Newcastle £500k Harry Redknapp Queens Park Rangers £3 million Martin O’Neill Sunderland £3 million Andres Villas-Boas Tottenham £4 million Sam Allardyce West Ham £2 million Roy Hodgson Engand £3 million Giovanni Trapattoni Republic Of Ireland £1.5 million Club Executives Whilst Premier League clubs report huge losses and are massively in debt Chief Executives are doing very nicely thank you. Also David Milliband at Sunderland who despite being a lifelong Arsenal supporter earned £125k for 15 days work over a two year period, the annual pay equivalent of £2.1 million, more than some of their players. Name Club Annual Salary Rick Parry Liverpool £1.5 million Garry Cook Manchester City £1.8 million David Gill Manchester United £1.73 million David Milliband Sunderland £125k Backroom Staff Since the cull of Mourinho and his Portuguese staff at Chelsea most of these below have now gone but we’ve left their salaries in as a guide given that backroom staff information is hard to come by. Quite poorly paid for such a large multi-million pound industry. In fact the chairman, Lord Triesman, receives less than Chelsea pay their coaches. If your not an international then your only going to pull between £1 and £2 million a year if your lucky. So Gerard and Lampard have been up their on £6 or £7 million a year contracts and Theo Walcott is trying to get up to that amount too. Otherwise your probably earning more than the Manager but not up there with the strikers. The stars of the team and the ones everyone wants to pay big money for. The highest paid player in the Premier League is currently Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie both earning an incredible £12.5 million a year. Name Club Annual Salary Nicklas Bendtner Arsenal £2.5 million Olivier Geroud Arsenal £3.1 million Darren Bent Aston Villa £3.5 million Demba Ba Chelsea £3.5 million Fernando Torres Chelsea £9 million Dimitar Berbatov Fulham £2 million Andy Carroll Liverpool £4 million Sergio Aguero Manchester City £10 million Mario Balotelli Manchester City £4 million Edin Dzeko Manchester City £7.5 million Carlos Tevez Manchester City £8.6 million Wayne Rooney Manchester United £12.5 million Robin van Persie Manchester United £12.5 million Loic Remy Queens Park Rangers £3.5 million Peter Crouch Stoke City £2.5 million Kenwyne Jones Stoke City £1.5 million Louis Saha Sunderland £2 million Emmanuel Adebayor Tottenham £9 million Jermain Defoe Tottenham £3 million Club Salary League Well as a pretty basic rule then, looking at the table below, league position in the Premier League pretty much reflects how much a club spends on it’s wages, or put another way, how much it spends on its players. A good guide to how well the club is managed though is how they can out perform in this table. West Brom you could argue are the best managed club in the Premier League having the 3rd lowest wage bill but finishing a comfortable 11th in the table. West Ham being the worst managed club having the 12th highest wage bill but finishing bottom. The latest figures available are for the 2010/11 season shown in order of salaries paid. The screen shot was taken at 5:53 and the picture was posted 56 mins before that, meaning that the picture was uploaded at 4:57. By that point the game had finished, especially when you take into account the fact Bardsley wouldn't have commented immediately after it was uploaded Bardsley's a ****er.
The account has gone. I can't find it. I would be amazed if this is Bardsley. He may have been poor last season but he always seemed to love the fans and, whilst he's taken a barrage from some there's still a lot who ave time for him. I'd be interested to see any proof that it us/was him and not someone (maybe one of our own who dislike him) trying to get him in trouble
It's him matey. He posted photos of his family constantly. Had a bit of banter on there with Killgallon, Catts and others. It was definitely him.
Mclean says in the sunday sun a section of the Sunderland supporters started hassling him for not wearing the poppy and that is why he left!, not because of football but I reckon it was because he was not performing last season. But it has started this season with O Shea etc so where will it end.
He is going to go from one time supporters player of the year, to one of the most hated players ever to pull on the shirt, if this turns out to be correct..
