So we just watched Sunderland vs some team that only had 1 shot on goal. I can't believe they only shown our goal. I think we could have 20 shots on target and still only have 20 seconds on MOTD. Really glad I stayed up for that 😡
Literally just got in from work and had time to catch the 'highlights'. From what I saw it looked like much of the same from last season. Richardson injured after 25 minutes, minimal shots on goal etc but a win is a win and I'll take that all day long. Chuffed to bits for Kasami. Where was Ruiz?
Ruiz was on the bench. I think I remember reading that Jol said he wasn't 100% fit cuz of international. I'm more pissed at the fact the only thing they shown was the goal. It was like we didn't touch the ball other then that. Oh and to make mistakes and silly passes.
I was working yesterday so missed most of the football but every report I read seemed to suggest our only attempt on their goal was our goal???
Yep. That's true. And Sky at one point managed to say we had no attempts on target during the entire match - although quite how they think the ball ended up in the Sunderland net without being on target is a bit of a mystery.
