Now the deal has been confirmed and I imagine PL being finished in recruiting strikers.

Who would you like to come in next? I'd love McGugan, Bradley Johnson and Snodgrass.

    Then on to defence...:)

This is getting good, lots of early business from PL unlike last time in the Prem when we left in 'til Jan for Ashton!

If we get Mcgugan, snoddy and Johnson other teams are going to really start taking notice

We've been forthright in our transfer targets as I predicted I think Lambert wants it sorted for the Germany boot camp. Much more activity on coming days. Norwich board being adventurous WIN!

I agree mate, it's brilliant to see after recent years and our last Premiership stint.

Johnson seems 'likely' on a free; great business if we can see off Sunderland like The Sun says...but what The Sun says and what happens are usually opposite!

Snodgrass is getting a little bit too expensive for me, any more than 5mil and I'd probably be a bit disappointed..perhaps target someone else? Vaughan out of contract at Blackpool although once again, quite a bit of stiff competition.

McGugan would be excellent, looks a real class act I'd be ecstatic if we managed to sign him. Not sure how Forest are financially or if they would sell.

No one has quoted leeds want £5mil, i reckon they would settle for 4 plus add-ons, i really think we need a TOP signing with the flair and skill but also the determination and hunger that lambert wants. I would like to see either of snodgrass or mcgugan but in all honesty i cant see either of them ending up in a norwich shirt.

It looks like bradley johnson could be signing which in my eyes is a good bit of business for a free transfer but it looks like a deal could well be on the cards for elliott bennett, if this was the case i would not expect to see anymore midfielders come in.

I really dont know whats going to happen with our defence, only lambert truly knows what will happen in that department, but this is where we need the experiance the most...

Just the mirror said they want £5mil, until leeds say they want it then wouldnt believe a word of it. I wouldnt be suprised to find out that we didnt even bid £3.5mil for snodgrass, look how prices differ when people say we bid so much for a player to how much it actually ends up. Millwall supposebly wanted £3mil for morison but we had an offer accepted of just above £2mil, see what im saying...

If we got Bennett Snod and Johnson id be a very happy fan - Then I think lambert will go for the PL experience for the two Centre backs. and one more signing up top I wouldnt be surprised if we also see a goalkeeper come through the doors..

Dont get to excited by Bradley Johnson guys, he was avergae league 1 player, poor in championship, and if it hadnt of been for the goal against Arsenal nobody would really be bothered about him.

Good luck in prem guys not trying to be negative.

Don't think he will be a regular mate, just good competition and depth to the squad; which is required in the Prem.

I personally would be dissapointed if Snoddy went for any less than £6m. Left footers of his quality and age don't grow on trees. Don't think he will leave as I suspect you might be priced out, but you never know. Johnson wouldn't be good for anything other than back up.

I can see where your coming from guys on johnson, the fact hes league 1 lower championship at best BUT how many of our players would have been premier league bound candidates! We got told by posh that russ martin was no where near good enough for league one, people were doubting holty, signing players like david fox and andrew crofts from league one average sides and turning them into championship quality and maybe prem qaulity. I certainly wouldnt right off what lambert can do with a player like johnson, would not suprise me one bit if he became a superb player and being wanted by top teams come the end of the season..

On the snodgrass front as i say, i cant see him being in a norwich shirt and i dont expect us to return with another offer for him, but saying that we went in with 4 bids for morison so who knows....

  11. Plus, he can play right back as well as midfield...Lambo could do with a utility player

NORWICHFAN - Johnson has never played at right back in his life.

Whole-lot-of-Holt - No, he was recently voted our best player since relegation from the Premiership, and the last of our decent players we sold was for a reported £8 million. £6m is what I believe Snoddy to be AT LEAST worth.

    Same as Chicarito???

Seriously , you're deluded if you think he is worth that much.

What does that make Hoolahan worth? £10 million

next siging probably craig mackail-smith, elliott bennett, bradley johnson these are the ones we are linked with in the media. Still think we should get Lansbury back if the money being quoted for snodgrass is true, Lansbury must be worth about 3 million with add-ons....

Whole-lot-of-Holt - I think it's pretty much agreed now that Hernandez is worth a lot more than he was signed for, I'm saying what I think Snoddy is worth in this market. Remember Andy Carroll was also signed for £35m.

You mean Brighton-born Martin who didn't get on until after the 85th minute on his debut when our 3rd choice striker started?
