He may often be wrong, but it doesn't follow that if he says something then it must be false.

 

But until we do..... I just think there's little to be gained from selling him. True he's not the best rollback by a long shot but his disasterous errors were part of a catalog of s**t defending and the fact that we have shaw, and our CB pairing improved when shaw came in. We have lots of deadwood but atm fox is back up.

What p****s me off is the reactionary hatred directed at one of our players by people with little capacity for independent thought.

 

Understand your point, but I'd suggest that sentence is unnecessarily inflammatory.....

 

It's hardly hatred, and it's definitely not reactionary. I'm sorry but he's simply a poor defender at this level. It's best for us if we get someone better in his place, and it's best for him if he goes somewhere he'll play. It's a no-brainer.

Look at Schad's post history and you'll find he's got plenty of capacity for independent thought.

 

Yes on reflection i think you are correct. It just seems like everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

 

Plus Saintsweb might not be interested in his canadian dollars.

He had a bust-up with the old manager because Roma were losing the cup final to rivals Lazio and the manager just sat and did nothing. So Osvaldo said he had betrayed the club because the manager had a pop at Osvaldo.

He fell out with Lamela because he wasn't passing to other Roma players, and Osvaldo told him to pass the ball.

Before Roma he had no issues. Roma fans want him out and won't forgive and forget.

 

Why is there need to?

 

Fair point, his posts are usually well thought. Perhaps it is I who belongs at the web of saints.

 

Silly really. We're not his first choice (for obvious reasons, let's be honest) and he's had bad relationships with people at Roma. Peach is blowing it way out of proportion. Most Roma fans want him to stay and he's a very good player for them.

 

Relax, we are not going to sell Fox unless we get someone else in, to be honest I think we are going to struggle to offload him anyway, he'll be on a very good wage and unless he is desperate to get playing time in elsewhere I don't think he'll be rushing for the exit.

 

Sometimes I think Simon likes to stir the pot up a little, so biggie, but it's a little childish.

 

As long as he doesn't try to take the ball out of Lambert's hands for a penalty, he'll be fine.

 

I'm generally a pretty calm individual, but I'd jump on the pitch and get it back off him!

Well fox. Clyne can deputise for shaw, chambers and cork for clyne.

Fox is atrocious and has been since the championship.

 

And also, selling Fox would indicate that we were buying a better one...cannot imagine that he'd be on the block otherwise.
