Well my friend, if we don't make quality signings, and if we continue our poor form until those players arrive, you can kiss any dreams good bye. For a team wanting to challenge for the title, every point counts, even losing 3 at the start, who knows how vital these 3 points will be say in April or May if we're supposedly challenging for the title. Or any other points we might drop VS Fulham. United signed a world class player to help them win the league, RVP, so if we want to win the league, that's the type of signingS, we will need, we need signingS, not a signing, we need multiple playerS, world class calibre, if we have any dreams of wining the league.

Well according to OXO, we got Gnarby, Akpom, and Frimpong, so it's not all doom and gloom squad wise.
we got Giroud and Pod to replace RVP ...looks like thats working well , and because so prolific is Giroud ..we dont even need to play Pod till the 92nd minute and 3-1 down .
Sorry but I feel this is subject is being dropped a little too early. When someone is talking about squad depth, they don't just mean the amount of players you can field, but the quality of those backup players. Of the ones you have bolded, how many of them would slot into a title winning side's bench? Or even a top 4 bench? Let alone having to start due to injury. Hans and Arsenal87 are right, the Arsenal squad with injuries is incredibly lightweight. Yes, you could say that about any team (Except City) but you guys are exceptionally unlucky for the injuries at the moment and the players you highlighted aren't fit to be in a team that is supposed to be challenging for the title, and be a consistent force in the PL. That just simply isn't the case, and hasn't been for awhile now. Edit - Seems I picked the post without the bold. Still, you get the point.
sorry if it came across like that , i didnt say you were , we cant write off the season , but today was desperate , and we CANT afford to lose to such teams . we needed to hit the ground running and get off to a flyer . It wasnt that , but it wasnt even an OK performance , it was terrible. we came out of the blocks like headless chickens . EVERY game is important but we STILL see the same mistakes being made.
