Id happily pay his wages but make him train with kids and finish his career. id also make sure he keeps to times and such like and make his life miserable. If we let him go he just walks into another club and moves on.

If he fails to show up fine him. If he speaks out of turn fine him. If he

I have defended Bardsley but this is a step too far for him now.

I'd have him working in the kitchens and cleaning the toilets and get him out training OAPs fitness!

I'm sure if the club wants to get rid of him over this then they will double check the posting times with Instagram.

Seems PDC sussed his character out, then. Good decision to ostracise him.

Sunderland defender Phil Bardsley is certain to face the wrath of manager Paolo Di Canio once again after mocking his team’s opening day defeat to Fulham online.
The head coach, reeling from his side’s failure to turn their domination into a victory on Saturday, will demand an explanation from the Scotland international who has angered supporters for his reaction to the visitors’ 1-0 steal.
Bardsley sent a message to Sunderland supporter Scott Harrison who, on Saturday night, put a picture on Instagram of the build-up to the game.

The photograph appears to show a suited Bardsley in front of the home dug-out in the foreground, with the Barclays Premier League match ball in the background between the pitch and tunnel on the new podium.
    Harrison wrote '#opening day (heart)'.
Bardsley, responding under the name Bardoman26 wrote: 'Great opening day. Hahahhahaha hahahhaha!!!'
The outburst was tweeted by unhappy Sunderland supporters who, two seasons ago, voted the 28-year-old full-back their player of the year.

One of the first tweets from lewisinho said 'Phil Bardsley, ladies and gentlemen. He gets £32,000 a week off this club and that’s how he treats the club.'
And, typifying the response among fans, langleyparkmackem Dave Herron tweeted: 'Bardsley laughing at our great club.'
It is not the first time Bardsley has fallen foul of club, manager and supporters on-line.
In May, just days before their final league game at Tottenham Hotspur, the former Manchester United defender was pictured on the floor of a Newcastle casino covered in £50 notes.
He did not play at White Hart Lane and after a 1-0 defeat, Di Canio launched an astonishing attack on Bardsley who trained with the club’s Under 21 squad while Di Canio took his players and new signings to Hong Kong.
Although linked with Newcastle United, Fulham and QPR, Bardsley has remained at the club and broke his foot in a game with Kevin Ball’s team last week.
Fellow outcast and now former captain Lee Cattermole was demoted to number 33 from 6 by Di Canio, who gave that shirt to new addition Cabral, who was among the five debutants on Saturday. Like Jozy Altidore, Emanuele Giaccherini, Ondrej Celustka and Valentin Roberge, the midfielder showed promise, but also signs of requiring time to adapt to the Premier League. Time Sunderland do not have.
Sunderland, who travel to Southampton on Saturday, now face a home run into December of Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham.
In a clear sign his days on Wearside are over, Bardsley was not given a squad number by Di Canio last week and although Saturday’s official match programme included the departed Alfred N’Diaye, Danny Graham and James McClean – on the basis they did play in pre-season – Bardsley’s name was omitted from the squad list.
Before his inevitable exit, Bardsley will doubtless face further punishment from his disciplinarian and uncompromising manager who is certain to be unimpressed by the post-match events of Saturday night.
The opening day defeat was a major blow for Di Canio who was desperate to see his meticulous and much publicised close season methods produce immediate results. And to make matters worse, Roberge was culpable for Pajtim Kasami’s headed winner, forcing his manager to admit his players had to learn quickly from their mistakes, and his instructions.

talc, unless its been hacked, it is his account. Trace back over the months, his house break in cars stolen etc, its his. having said that I hope the c*nt gets his house broken into again. I hope his cars get damaged and graffiti sprayed all over his property. He should have had more sense cos where he lives they still eat their young up there.

I had a lot of time for Bardo. He was never the best but his commitment was there for all to see when he pulled that shirt on but now I've lost all respect for him.

PS, if it has been hacked I take back everything I have just said and hope the w*nkers who hacked it get strung up by the town halls.

I cant believe we're paying him 32k a week wages. What was the club thinking when they gave him that contract!! We're stuck with the to$$er now aswell. That money could be going to a player 10 times better than him!

How long has he got left on his contract? If its not long, settle up with him and ship him out now. If he still has a while to go stick him with the reserves, training with the youth etc. Difficult I know with the money he's on but lets make him regret his outbursts
