Didn't get a chance to watch the game today due to some personal stuff and kind of pleased i didn't considering the result. I've had a look through some of the highlights and it doesn't look like we where crap, just sloppy in front of goal and the victims of some terrible reffing. Shouldn't give the ref a chance to mess things up for us, but from what i've seen 3-1 doesn't seem afair scoreline. Lossess happen sometimes. What worries me is the injuries and even worse the suspension for Kosc the boss. It'll be interesting to see what we have available for the Fnerbache game.
I remember seeing a tweet that only Spurs and City have real Sporting Directors and they've definitely had the best summer in terms of transfers.
Sloppy in front of goal, erm, precisely why some of here have been crying for a WORLD CLASS FORWARD, but nah, according to Toledo, it isn't a priority for a new forward.
It might be the answer, i just feel there is more going on behind the scenes than we realise and the whole process most likely needs to be evaluated. Since Dein we have struggled to complete transfer dealings in the way we want to, which is shame as Wenger seems to notice the right talent, we just don't get the deals done. Maybe we are at the stage where we need someone to come in who's job is to focus on getting the transfers done after Wenger points out his targets. We clearly thought we could get Suarez and it's a real shame if this really is put to bed now as i think this was Wenger showing he is willing to go for the top players. I think he genuinly thought we where going to have a great transfer window and it hasn't worked out. The club have a little more time to sort it out before the window closes and i do think we will still see players come in. But we need to have a look at how we do things.
What optimism angle? Do you lot even read the posts your replying to or just assume because of the posters name what the content will be and use an auto reply? Completely ****ing ridiculous some of you lot.
I completely agree we need a new forward and that Giroud alone shouldn't shoulder the burden of leading the line.
You know this whole situation is quite sad, there was so much positivity with the end of last season, finished very strongly, we knew the core of the squad was staying, so for the first time in a long time, things looked on the up....The club sadly had to **** everything up, and go into the season with a negative vibe due to not making any improvements to the side, and now we lose 3-1, they just sapped all that positivity out the window. Right now it's the usual same old **** story with Arsenal.
I won't bash Giroud today, he scored, Walcott and OXO on the other hand, were very very ****, OXO seems to be carrying his useless place in the team from last season, more proof needed that we also need another quality winger in this side. OXO has done nothing to justify any confidence in him.
To be fair, i've been calling for Wengers head for a long time, today gives people like me more ammo.
Although not great todat, we were better than Villa. The ref cost us the game. Why do you support The Arsenal?
I don't think we were better than Villa, in the first half we created nothing, in the second half we had 3 good chances, and nothing really more. Why I support Arsenal, oh **** me, we started with that again?
Nope, Wenger and his die hard supporters will just blame the ref for this one. Just read what Wenger said: "It was a bad day, not on the quality of our display, but everything went against us". How can he be happy with how we played? Their shot that hit the post should have made it four.
