No need for Rape when they were selling it for 5 Marks, that was about £1.25 in the early eighties.

£1.25 though? Never went meself but apparently the women were the absolute dregs, just hung about on the pavement and you had to walk down the middle of the road to avoid getting collared, you had to run the gauntlet to get by.

I can remember being feart of an African hooker in Tenerife. She wisny letting me get away and the only thing that stopped me chinning her was the blokes who were quite obviously pimping her shadowing us down the road as I tried to make my escape.

I was all "me no speaka da english" and trying to get out her grip <laugh>

50 euro?? Was it ****, I spent 2.5 grand that night! The first one of the night wanted a grand for all night and she was going to get a friend involved and free coke and I said that there was no way i was going to spend a grand. I should have bitten her hand off!

He won the position off McLoy the season I was talking about. He also played a few decent games for Scotland that and was on the way to establishing himself as the keeper of the national side. Then came the Wembley disaster. <doh>

I never rated McCLoy that highly to be honest. I thought he was an adequate keeper. There are at least five on that poll that are far better then he was. At a time when Scotland was struggling to find a goalkeeper McCLoy made only four appearances for them.

He did play at a time when Scotland keepers were ridiculed for being rubbish though . He was a better keeper than Kennedy that's for sure .

And Scotland caps is no indication of quality ffs Alan Rough got over fifty and he wis pants . In fact he kept the Girvan lighthouse out the tean for much of the time .

Ronnie Simpson won a European cup and got very few caps for Scotland . Wis it not Bob Wilson that kept him out the Scotland team ?
