Actually since we're here...

What are your favourite albums?

I think we had something like this back in March (I think it was Kempton who posted it), might as well ask again, as tastes change.

Try to name at the very most 10 though.

A few off the top of my head...

The Stone Roses will always be my favourite album. It made me want to learn the guitar. I also think Second Coming is vastly underated album. The musicianship is brilliant and probably higher then the first album.

Same. The Stone Roses is an incredible album and will always be my fave. The only album to come close is The Queen Is Dead for me.

Second Coming is very underrated, just like Be Here Now by Oasis. Both are criticised because they aren't as good as their predecessors.

My favorite is Papa, sometimes he appears a bit mental but he's a sharp as a razor.

Oh arse, misread the thread title.

Killing Joke - Killing Joke. Still doing it for the Gatherers, love this band. Absolute Dissent is a great album too.
The Scream- Siouxsie & The Banshees. Have everything single and album by this awesome woman. Hard to pick one I love more than the rest but if pushed it's this one.
Reverence - Faithless. Best dance band ever. Insomnia is my favorite track of all time.
Songs of Love and Devotion - Depeche Mode. Pioneers and made just the best electronica for decades. Again, I love all their stuff but this one stands out for me.
Staring at the Sea - Cure. Another band who can't do any wrong for me, picked this cos its all the singles at the time.
DNA - Little Mix. No need to question, I already know, It's in his DNA, D-D-D-DNA. Brilliant pop.
An end has a start - Editors. I want track 3 played at my funeral. Another album I can listen to anytime at al.

First album bought was Tonic for the Troops by the Boomtown Rats and can still happily listen to that.

There was a lot of reason SC was panned. But mostly because of the gap between albums, the fact they wouldn't sell out the press and it everyone wanted copy of TSR
