When did we last lose our opening game? Is it a first for Wenger?

We had no new signings on show, but Villa's new man was my man of the match. Well done, Anthony Taylor, you did your team proud.

Rubbish performance from an average team with a deluded manager.

Missed the beginning of the second half and saw us losing 2-1 and a man down. Not good the way Arsenal lost their composure and the last 20 minutes highlighted that.

A serious question to you lot - how many of you will be spurs fans this time next week?

    Why?

  16. True, but why leave Podolski and Cazorla on the bench? Aren't they two of your key players?

That was poor but I hope that yhe FA suspends this ****bag indefinitely. No team should ever have to suffer such shocking refereeing

Oh well. At least we are not quite bottom of the league.

2 out of 3 centre backs out now and 2 left backs and possibly our cover in Sagna.

    Ref has killed our season.

Ref wasn't great but Arsenal are too experienced to have lost it so early in the game. They were still dangerous but were a little all over the place. They should have composed themselves and gone back on track against an average Villa side.
