Hardly surprising, have you seen Fellaini? It's like David vs. Goliath. Relax, most of our 1st teamers are still out: Hooper, Fer, Snodgrass, Olsson, Bassong

wes has got no one to give the ball to. Elliot bennett was a bit non existent, johnson and howson look sloppy.

I thought they were misplaced passes not losing the ball under pressure

Why would you be happy by that fact? Earlier you said he doesn't track back so thats clearly not true. Everyone knows he can have a tendency to lose possession, although this can be due to him trying things others wouldn't. He can be a creative outlet. Early days in this match and the season. Long way to go.

Johnson sloppy, Howson was playing ok and Hoolahan kept losing the ball. We are really struggling to cope with Fellaini

Bennett has been up and down - his corners and free kicks have been very good, but he keeps going missing.

Turner looking a bit dodge and Garrido is being taken for a ride by Coleman, but we can definitely get something from this if we stop sitting back so much. The Wolf has looked class with some great movement, but the execution for him has been poor. I'd say our best player has been Redmond, who has looked relentlessly lively

We've only played 45 minutes and still have a few players out. I honestly think Fer will make a massive difference.

In a nutshell, our passing has been poor, we're sitting too deep allowing Everton so much possesion and it's the same 'ol, same 'ol when it comes to the midfield. RVW is being starved of any real service and Hoolahan does give the ball away too much.

That's not entirely true - there have been no long balls! (Because we haven't had enough possession...)

Yeah, I've been impressed with Redmond so far, and Wolfswinkel's movement. Whittaker looks fairly good too. Pleased to see we don't seem to be trying to use Ricky as a target man, although it does seem to have been replaced with speculative balls over the top for him to try and run onto. Howson a major culprit of those.

Pilkington, Snodgrass, Fer, Hooper, R. Bennet (who is better than Turner); Bassong all to come in...so, may improve over the weeks. But based upon the similarities to last season it's distinctly possible that whoever Hughton has available, we will play in exactly the same way...

Feel sorry for RVW, bizarrely, he is playing more or less the role Holt had, which is not his position at all! But, he's done some ok things but completely isolated, with Hoolahan directionless and relatively pointless as usual. Johnson has been poor. Redmond has been more interesting but I really can't see him playing every week. Other than once when he ran from left to right, he has a tendency to run in straight lines, making it easier to defend against. But, he's 19 and looks a fantastic prospect.

I actually don't mind Howson doing them because he is the one player in our current midfield who, when on form, can actually get those rit

    Goal 1-0 norwich

"Phew...was listening to it and I heard, "Fellaini...scores on the second attempt", thought that we were 1-0 down, rushed to the computer and 1-0 up."
