Last season it took us until the 29th of September to pick up 3 points. It's taken us 90 minutes so far. Good start.
I'm soooooooooooooo mad. Missed the goal because BT wanted authentication of a sight I had already had to log into. Missed the last 10 minutes because it kept telling me I had passed the total number of streams allowable - I only had 1 Forefox page up!!! Phoned to complain and all they could do was log a complaint!!!! It's rubbish
Be thankful you weren't watching on a tv mate, you'd have had to endure ALL the drivel coming from the commentator and Owen.
We'll play a lot worse than today in the coming season and win comfortably. Good performance against a Stoke team who played well and given their strengths are our weaknesses we should take heart that we were able to dominate like we did. Stoke got what they deserved in a good game IMHO.
Twitter reactions: Suso (‏@suso30fernandez): Sturridge !!!! #YNWA” Shaka Hislop ‏(@ShakaHislop) heaps praise on Stoke’s goalkeeper: “Don’t think Stoke can afford to sell Begovic this year, but if they did, who needs him most, and how much will they have to pay?” Vegard Heggem ‏(@vedgy) would have liked the Reds to finish off the match sooner: “No need to make it this nerve-wrecking, Red men! Still, very promising start, loads of talent in our squad. #LFC” Graeme Smith ‏(@GraemeSmith49) is happy to see his team win: “Well done @LFC 1st win of the season! Extremely happy start to the Premiership…… #YNWA” Luis Garcia ‏(@LuchoGarcia14) enjoyed the 1-0 victory: “Morning-Afternoon! Great game to start the weekend, Reds with the three points on the first game vs Stoke. #YNWA” Dietmar Hamann ‏(@DietmarHamann) is thrilled for Liverpool’s hero: “Well played LFC, great start for Mignolet. Good times ahead #YNWA” Hislop again (‏@ShakaHislop): “I know it’s the first day of the season, it was ‘only’ Stoke, it was only 1-0, Stoke missed a penalty, but thought LFC looked really good.”
Exactly! So happy, its ridiculous the effect Liverpool results have on my mood lol But I guess I am not alone in that
Taking MITO's blocks of four games approach: Home to Stoke (3pts) Away to Villa home to Man Utd Home to Swansea Its a good start and keeping in line with the aim of getting an average of two points per game.
Best thing that could've happened that penalty save for Mignolet after his nervy first half. Sure he'll kick on now and the nerves will go. BT Sport coverage (presenters / commentators / camera work etc) is actually pretty good but the website (navigation, access, connection) is shocking and needs work.
