This Liverpool are not going to sell Suarez to Arsenal for less than 50m, likewise with us and Rooney, I dont see us getting away with £25m bids. Needs to be upwards of £35-40m for United to even consider it I'd wager. If Liverpool had got that £40m offer from, say Monaco or PSG, they may have accepted. I should add, anyway, that it seems to be the trend that you will not get a world class striker for less than £40m unless, as in RVP's case, they have a year or less on their contract. Plus Arsenals board just cant turn down money. I swear someone is getting loaded off that club, at the fans' expense.
Rooney has reportedly accepted he'll not be allowed to leave #MUFC to join #CFC & has settled for another season at #MUFC. (Mail On Sunday)
To sell RVP to United - one of their their main rivals for the title at the time- was simply criminal of their management and board. It would be the same if they sell fat Roon to the plastics: total betrayal.
According to Marca, Chelsea up offer to €47m for Rooney. http://www.marca.com/2013/08/18/en/football/international_football/1376854044.html
Doubt it - it will be too late to get anyone else in by then, so why would we care how much they offer? The only caveat is if we've managed to bring in a few players by then. If we use the money they've already offered as a basis to get two or three of Modric, Fellaini, Baines, Bale, Ronaldo, Fabregas, Ozil, Kaka, Messi, Roy of the Rovers, Pele and Shergar then we might sell him. But I'd only expect us to sell if replacements are in place already.
Fat Roon should not be sold the Chavs. If he doesn't play for us then he is not playing for any of our rivals. Apparently falcao wants to leave Monaco just a few weeks after joining them. He has been asked to pay more tax. Who says it is not all about the money? Anyone would swap fat Roon for Falcao?
The Daily Star is a comic. I used to know a sports journalist from the Star. He was the biggest laugh out of all of them but he was effectively an overgrown student making **** up while he wondered around stoned. His afro was cool too.
I saw it in Marca not the daily Star! Mind you, I don't trust that Spanish rag either as it is simply Real's mouthpiece. To be fair, it said that United COULD be interested if the fat scouser left.
Mourinho on Rooney: "Nothing’s changed" for f(u)ck sake, why's he still talking about him, i guarantee you 100%, he wouldn't of done this if Fergie was still in charge.
Peter Schmeichel: I know Sir Alex came out and said Wayne asked for a transfer but i have spoken to Wayne and he said he never did. Peter Schmeichel: Rooney NEVER said he wanted a transfer and wants to stay at the club." he was with his wife with the rest of the players on a team bonding session - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...n-van-Persie-embark-team-bonding-session.html
TBH I have had enough of the selfish **** who thinks the world revolves around him. Like last season showed we can be competitive without him. If he does not want to play for us, then he can f**k off. We should just ship abroad or let him rot in the reserves until he comes to his senses. He is too clever to submit a transfer request as he knows we'll never sell him to the plastic chavs.
