Pretty poor first half and once again I feel our weakest player is Green, I have lost count how many times he has under hit a pass or given the ball away in the final 3rd
To be honest I don't think it was really Lees fault there, looked like it was whoever should have been on the post and allowed it to be knocked back into the area. I agree with ristac though, we've just about edged it in open play but haven't threatened the goal. Green hasn't had a great game
Same old problems for us. Lack of movement to get into space so that we can build play which prevents good passing, lack of accurate passing ability when there is the opportunity, lack of tracking players and closing down their space when they have the ball. How the hell can Prutton out-muscle Austin? I'm hoping there will be some better coaching and motivation as the season goes on to eradicate those general issues. Individual mistakes happen, and no real issues with the goal to comment on, but it's all a symptom of how we play (or don't, as the case may be)
Goodman is a first class knob-end, always anti Leeds the fool. We should organise some Goodman songs for the QPR game when he'll be at ER again for Sky. Midfield really poor so far, Green off I reckon. Regardless of what people think, Tonge is still a quality passer and we should play him when Austin is protecting. Diouf on?
Wendies are a big side, especially at the back........ so lets boot it up in the air, Gardner is and will win everything......sort it BMD. Greens fault for goal, left his marker to head back over the goal, plus he has given the ball away every time, must be taken off, and put Smith on to sort that Gardner out. Austin is too deep and wanting to do everything, some players do that when given Capt band, all in all a poor 45 mins IMO C'MON LEEDS
Poleon reminds me of White at the mo. Lots of pace, little control or accuracy. Hopefully he will improve over the next couple of years past White
I don't mind hearing "we all hate leeds scum" from thr Wendys. It's when Charlton or Yeovil do it that I am rather bemused.
The ref is having a shocker today, and not just from a Leeds perspective Edit: but he's definitely been worse from a Leeds perspective!
23,766, quite poor for you lot for a Yorkshire derby, I thought with Bates gone your attendances would fly up.
