Rumour on twitter Jon Stead coming back on loan RR THIS IS A RUMOUR, YOU DON'T HAVE TO COMMENT TO SAY HOW WE WOULD WIN THE LEAGUE. Shows how out of hand twitter rumours get.o
I don't for one minute think Danns or Sharp are coming here. Any decent centre back and striker would be useful at present. That'll do me.
Apparently so there has been no mention so far of him signing for any club same with Mr Rapsheet 2 miles long Ranger
SoD has said no rush to sign a striker and ideally wants someone "young and on a free" - so that rules out Sharp
Hear you guys may be in for Jay Simpson, was disappointed for the lad when he left us as had a great first half of season when playing alongside aluko, and when the latter was sidelined, jay's goal scoring fell away. He is a strong lad and great at holding the ball but needs a decent striker playing alongside him. Am sure he would have had a new contract with us had we not been promoted, and he will certainly be worth his place. All the best for the season, and we may see each other next season!
cheers tiger, We need another striker alongside Baldock and Harewood,Taylor in my opinion is not good enough,He would do a good job i am sure.
He is young and free but I expect he is looking to see if he can get a Championship spot first same with a lot of the people released they will be looking at all the options before deciding to drop down divisions.
When will Bristol City stop all this nonsense and get the obvious failings of the squad fixed once and for all? Stop painting over the cracks and giving us all this commitment stuff and then do nothing about it. You know the problem so fix it now.
We need another striker we have a first team squad that will gel given time Williams, Wynter have hardly played league football at all yet, Pack is stepping up from L2 and Flint was in non league not too long ago plus JET, Wagstaff, Fielding, Parish and all the previous mentioned are still young enough to be learning so Sean has tried the experienced pro's at the club to support them which is what you would expect the older heads helping the younger the problem we have is it is the so called experienced pro's that are the weak link. In fact apart from Carey none of the longer term players are worth keeping past their contract expirary dates - Wilson - Kilkenny - Fontaine(although it could be confidence with him) all need to be looking to a future that does not include Bristol City.
