Are you taking all mitigating factors into consideration Diego? Only asking because our season started while the blues players were on holiday and there were trips to eastern europe during the season as well as cc cup games etc while the blues players had midweek's off.
Love you all but there's way too much hoping goes on from us where United is concerned and like it or not its the same compliment they showed us while winning but its not what overtook us. We can't keep assuming this year is the year they fall. Yes, all empires fall, ours did but ours did through complacency. There's might but unlike us I can't see a drastic change in the structure of the league just as they stumble here and now. What's the worst that can happen to one of the best run sporting companies in the business? Couple of **** managers? Ill repeat. It's only been very recently we've had players saying no. It took a very long time for our decline to start looking like it might not recover. I think it shows how far we've fallen to sit and declare each year they're about to go. Either they will or they won't. Personally? I can't see it going as badly as we did. Let's concentrate on us. If all the romanticism is still true in this footballing age then a good ballsy manager with a strong ownership can build a successful team. After that who knows?
Predictatext makes a literate individual look like a twat and an illiterate twat look literate. Edit: at my own post G not yours lol
Personally? I predict Chelsea win it, United 2nd. We will get 4th if we are even more consistent against the "lower" teams (a lot gave bought well this window) and if we beat half last years top six & not lose a couple. By the way did anyone see the sky poll for PL predictions? Holy crap, we came "4th" which resulted in a howling response from pretty much every fan down to York city telling us we are deluded. Personally I'll do a DD and say it was the United board voting for us as an excuse to come back to tell us we're crazy.
Anything Liverpool related always comes out close to top in those sky polls. All the goals of the week etc are normally always won by Liverpool fans. I think it's just because a lot more of them vote for some reason My prediction is City 1st, Chelsea 2nd, United 3rd, Spurs 4th, us 5th, Arsenal 6th (but only a few points between all 3) then Swansea Everton & Southampton to be on similar points with the usual mid table teams next. Palace, Hull & Stoke to go down.
My prediction subject to Arsenal signing a couple of players Chelsea Man City Man Utd Tottenham Arsenal Liverpool Everton
Depends if they sign anyone else and who it is. Much the same for all the clubs really PS...If we sign Willian and Arsenal don't sign anyone then I'd put us the other way around. If we sign Willian and Sakho/Papa and Spurs sell Bale without replacement then I'd be tempted to put us fourth.
Fair enough DR, as all years I hope you're bloody right lol. By the way. I honestly don't think we'll get 4th this year. One too early to really compete but I honestly and I know a few will vehemently disagree think we've moved a step up squad wise. This year will prove me right or wrong. But I'm a slow and steady. But always hope. If a newly promoted team can finish 6 places above where they are "supposed" to then you can, in a tightly fought contest nick a place from a better team a year early!
