That chelsea team looks like we can get a draw in my opinion ( still strong as **** mind)

it's basically between koren/livermore/sagbo and a differing formation for city

    Yep, they've changed it.

    It was:

    McGregor
    Rosey Davies Macca Figueroa
    Boyd Meyler Koren Brady
    Graham Sagbo

Now it's nearly the team I would have, only I would swap Brady and Sagbo's positions, and then swap Sagbo for Livermore.

Not really seen a lot of Livermore.... Is he better than Meyler?

Hard to say but he played for england a year ago yesterday in the win vs italy

He's a big talent and honestly if hodgson isin't a **** cause they play for us.. if we have a decent season

i've no reason to doubt livermore and huddlestone can be in the 2014 wc squad for england

Thudd is one of England's best midfielders. If he has a good season, he'll be called up.

I expect Gerrard and/or Lampard to retire after the World Cup, so there is a place available. Which Thudd should get if the plays his best for us.

Meyler's can be untidy with his passes but I noticed we missed him last season in the games where he was out through suspension. Better on the right linking up with Elmo though than in the centre.

I think we'll be playing a midfield 3 with Thudd, Livermore and Meyler, with Meyler on the right side of the three to keep his link-up play with Elmo.

Two words to prove why he won't be overlooked because he plays for us:

    Rickie. Lambert.

    If we're playing 4-3-3, then I wouldn't play Elmo.

In games where we were under pressure last season, and we needed him to spend large parts of the game defending... he was awful and prone to back-pass howlers.

Southampton are nowhere near as uncool as us though.

If the Mansours had taken us over instead of Man City we'd still be tipped for relegation.

But I don't think Hodgson is stupid enough to ignore Thudd for England if he is on top form.

This was the result of the poll on HDM website for the starting lineup at Chelsea:

Who was in the 4% who left out Aluko?

2 points: Sagbo and Koren both got 50%, but 433 got more votes so Sagbo was chosen. Also, yes there is an error. Huddlestone is apparently white on that picture.
