Evening chaps, Mackem in peace. Just after some Fantasy football advice if possible. Have you guys got any indication how often Kagawa is likely to be playing this season? Will he be a bit part player again like last season or likely to have a more prominent role this year? Only thing is, the FF I'm doing, there are no subs, you have to stick with the team you shoose from the start, so any indications would be much appreciated Cheers!
to be honest mate the way things are .yes he will be playing regularly because our new manager does;nt know how to spend money has he as never had it?
Yeah that's the reason he will be playing regularly, I think tool is a bit too nice on this occasion.
Aside from tool 1, tool 2, tool 3's bickering, I think Kagawa will play more this season. He was playing a lot early on last season, then dropped in form, then got injured. Towards the end of the season he was playing quite well. His biggest competitor for playing time will be Rooney and no one seems to really know what's going on with that. Kagawa's best position is behind the striker, and if Rooney's not playing, the Kagawa will. Another factor is no one really knows how Moyes will set up this United team, Kagawa will get less playing time if we're playing a 442, but in a 433 or 4321, he'll more than likely be starting as an attacking mid or out on the left.
And of course Ed Woodward's wife told your wife's best friend's dog that Rooney will definitely be sold to Chelsea in mid August. So we'll definitely need Kagawa to replace him... Whether or not Kagawa plays will probably depend on Kagawa. He struggled a bit to adapt to the PL last season, but started coming good around the second half of the season. If he can keep that trend up then he'll play a big role this season, and could get plenty of goals and assists. But imo if you can't make subs then having him in the side right from the off could be a bit of a risk if Rooney stays and Zaha keeps playing well.
Aside from Carrick, Evans, Evra, DeGea and vanPersie, no other players have a guaranteed starting place. No wait, we have a new manager.
So Kagawa hadn't recovered from the international break to play against Liverpool. We have another international break now and Kagawa won't be fit enough to play until another international break and so on. So OP, Kagawa was a bad investment, sorry. Hopefully, the arrival of Fellaini will help Kagawa to feature more.
How's your Rooney prediction coming along? Your wife's mate's next door neighbour's postman's brother's dog still boarding at the same kennels as Woodward's sister's ex-husband's dentist's receptionist's dog?
