I agree with you. He's lacking in a couple of areas, only slightly, but it means that he isn't the real deal yet. He may develop into a strong Premier League player, but he isn't at the moment.

 

I still think Spurs are after just Lamela not Osvaldo.

 

Good point, although I don't think Lambo will be competing directly with Defoe for a place.

Apologies for dragging this out but talk football on twitter are now claiming he has not yet rejected saints. He has rejected benfica. Saints are a bit upset with Roma for selecting him for tomorrow's game and not given up on Osvaldo yet. Sigh.....

Oh, and as rewards the Jay Rod comments, he may not be the strongest premier league player at the moment but he sure gets better with every game!

Indeed. a couple of places say Osvaldo has said yes, and met Cortese's deadline.

 

The news from Sky Italia comes from Angelo Mangiante who was reporting on Sky Sport 24 (italy's SSN) from Roma's training ground earlier today. He told of Pochettino calling Osvaldo this morning.
