True, and for that I apologise. But he has made personal comments at every turn even though I have specifically asked him not to on other threads.

However I do apologise to him.

17 year old - just squeezed in to Huddersfield Poly, but knows it all. Sports Journalist, don't make me laugh. Any proper journalist would weep at the dross you put on here.

Rude on here because he was the school wimp and daren't say anything to the big boys. Except through his keyboard.

And everyone on here knows it.

I've noticed the last few months the arguing is pathetic, this forum was a much better place earlier in the year, personal insults are just ridiculous, by all means disagree with persons point of view but geez i've seen more mature debates on facebook

We must be a ****ing laughing stock to other clubs.

Not because of the name-change, but because we're on the eve of the new Premier League kicking-off which no ****er gave us a chance of being in this time last year, and we're spending all our ****ing energies worrying about three ****ing letters.

That's £4 in the swear jar as well.

Think some of us need to think about what we post, things are getting a bit stupid. Some agree on the change, others don't but let's just keep it to relevant debate and not sweeping statements on people's backgrounds.

Whether the name changes or not there'll be no evidence as there'll only be a record of what has happened, not what would have happened if it had gone the other way.

Similar thing to when Barmby was in charge. We didn't get promoted therefore we were wrong not to sign Billy Sharp or Jason Roberts (on loan before the Reading takeover). There's nothing to prove that we would have got promoted had we signed one of them. Now, if we change the name and the sponsorship increases there's no proof it wouldn't have done the same anyway, sponsors will be encouraged now there's been a fuss kicked up to say the marketing name and how they're looking forward to working together as the two brands can help each other. If we don't change the name and the sponsorship doesn't go up there's no proof that changing it would have done unless someone goes and sponsors another side and says they'd have preferred to sponsor us but we're a poor brand. Even if we don't change and it does go up there'll always be the argument it could have increased more.

What's irritating is when people try to support their argument by something that is not true - ie referring to the accounts when they haven't even seen them.

Then he acted like he knows me and my wife. I'm not concerned about him mentioning my wife but to make out she works in my business is just plain wrong. She's 53 and has retired.

I've met his type before. If somebody owns an hotel they will say that they're the toilet cleaner. Yet they are loath to mention what job they do. Their excuse will be something like "I won't give him any personal information because I don't want his attention." yet he will nag me for ages. It usually means that he's too embarrassed to admit what work he does.

I've read his comment again and all he seems to be doing is trying to insult for the sake of it. Just because I found him out about his bragging about the Allam Marine accounts as if he's read them. He calls me a "know all" and he's right - compared to him.

Oh yeah? And what do you do for a living that qualifies you to take the moral high-ground?

    <JOKE>

Sad you have to write <JOKE> because people assume you're on the attack otherwise.

That's right. There will never be any evidence one way or the other.

All I am sure about is that a lot of people around the world can't say the new name with a straight face.
