    I think all of their CBs are rubbish, some of the mistakes I've seen them make were so awful even Hooiveld couldn't match them.

    Don't agree with that at all. Hooiveld was comfortably the most prone centre back to individuals errors in the league last season.

    As the season wore on, Hoover found his feet, and the mistakes dried up. Poch certainly favoured Hoover over Jose.

    They're certainly not what you'd consider to be top class defenders, but McAuley did do pretty well against us last season if I recall. Hopefully you're onto something and Rickie can give them hell tomorrow.

    Well it doesn't really matter; if he starts and Shaw goes off he could switch to the left and Chambers can replace him on the right. So really it only matters if he's fit enough to start.

    Yeah it will depend how much faith they have in Chambers I guess. Would be fun to see him start, and I'm sure Clyne will be fit enough to relieve him in the second half.

    I would say its more disheartening if he has read any previews for the upcomming season, alot of previews have him down as a weak link
