Have you met him? He's an absolute ****, and I use the term sparingly. He genuinley hates us, every single time he has worked at City and the oppo scores he celebrates like mad off camera.
No, I haven't met him. I find the man very funny. I don't care what he does off camera. That's his choice. I'd probably do the same for other clubs.
Who was it on our survival day in our first EPL season that was doing the media coverage for SSN? Was it John Solako? I can't remember who it was that shouted down from the gantry to us that Villa had scored (or Duff had).
Solako is a good pundit Kamara is terrible really he's just loved for being an idiot and plus he use to hate city and that always pissed me off Redknapp is just there for his looks no doubt in my opinion
He's developed a persona on camera of being an idiot and some people like this. To be honest he reminds me of Gollum the way he always gets things wrong but he gets away with it as he makes it into a joke. Off camera when he isnt acting up to a crowd of supporters he couldnt be more removed from his loveable, cheeky chappie image. And he played for Leeds. And he's always slagging off managers for their decisions when as manager of Stoke he had literally a 100% losing record before getting the sack. Funny how he never mentions this....
Irritating to see us behind Palace and Cardiff again. Particularly as the only justification seems to be "Well it's only Hull, they can't stay up surely?" rather than anything said about the team itself. They've mentioned Huddlestone in the same way as they mentioned Kevin Phillips for Palace. Practically ignored that he's one of the best English midfielders. I wouldn't mind being belittled in these prediction things every year, it's just the way they don't even look at our squad that annoys me. Every year we're expected to fail simply because we're only little Hull.
Wow Lawro has changed his tune from the last time we went up...probably scared of looking a tit again. Jose Mourinho returning to Stamford Bridge is an undoubtedly big lift for Chelsea. You cannot question his record as a manager and he is an outstanding coach. Going back to the scene of your former glories does not always work out, though. I am not convinced he is going to make the difference, by that I mean win the league, but they will have a good season and I definitely think they will beat Hull. Out of the three promoted teams, Hull look the best equipped for survival. Tigers boss Steve Bruce has made some very good signings, such as Tom Huddlestone from Tottenham, and they have given themselves a fighting chance. Bruce himself will be key. He has been here before, and he knows what life in the bottom half of the Premier League is like. I'd argue that they will be more competitive than Cardiff or Crystal Palace. Lawro's prediction: 2-0
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...2013-14-preview-Sportsmail-experts-views.html EVERY single pundit has predicted us bottom 3, fair play I suppose, easy journalism to put us there without considering who we've bought and Bruce's record, to be fair most my mates are surprised when I list off the players signed and the positions covered, they still just make comments like any team with Alex Bruce in will struggle without realising he'll be way down the list this year (or better bloody be!)
My comment, courtesy of Sky's appalling editing after I said that Redknapp didn't have a clue what he was talking about: "how can hull be disappointed, we've bought in 10 players, who are all improvements to the squad. also sone aluko will be the one to watch - he's a very good player." I can understand why they changed it, but don't make me look like a complete ****wit.
It appears that only once in the history of the Premier League have all three promoted teams gone straight back down. So it looks like lazy journalism. Let's prove the pundits wrong.
I think it would be hilarious if all 3 teams stayed up. These 'experts' would look like right ****ers
Stan Cpllymore has Stoke, Palace and Cardiff to go down: http://talksport.com/football/stan-collymore’s-premier-league-preview-13081655935?
So then, so far i've seen/heard 3 people say we aren't going down who are neutrals - Mark Lawrenson, Stan Collymore and Noel Gallagher. Only needed to hear Noel, that was enough support for me.
